My question is anyone have any suggestions about St Louis and where to go maybe what Hotel are players stay at or any kind of help would be Good!!! 2cents Posted November 7, 2005 Share Posted November 7, 2005 Make reservations at the Drury Inn which is literally feet from the Edward Jones Dome. You will also be downtown so there are plenty of resturants nearby, plus you are a short distance from Union Station, which is a big eating and shopping place. RebelYell Posted November 8, 2005 Share Posted November 8, 2005 Check out some of the nicer hotels. You can often get the Marriott Renaissance (which is a NICE hotel) for $99 a night. Alternatively, if you like to gamble, stay at the Casino queen has great rates and the rooms are fine. You drive through some odd-looking streets to get down to the river, but it's fine when you get there. There are good steak restaurants downtown which are (a) not pretentious, ( serve great food, and © inexpensive. All in all - I would go for the luxury experience - because it's way cheaper than it would be in any city on either coast or somewhere like Chicago or Dallas. Have fun.
