-After the top 30 visit, JD was telling people he was "Quinn's Guy". Good early indication that Coach n GM are on the same page. Always good.

I noticed a few times before the draft that JD addressed Quinn as DQ.  Seems like they have already established a good relationship which is good.

36 here. Think those of us born in the 1985-1995 range probably have real good representation on here.

We were raised or even overlapped with some of the glory years in the close rearview mirror. Those born 1995-2000 had Gibbs 2.0 and RG3 to get them enticed, but after that there's not been much else. Curious to see what happens when those born between 2012 and 2022 come of message boarding age.

I actually became a Redskins fan because my favorite player at the time...Mark Brunell was traded here lol.

Would be very interesting if the Raiders moved up to #3 prior to the draft.

That really would open up another trade with us to #2 for Daniels on draft night IMO.

We can’t move anyway until the Bears have formally submit their pick, even though the outcome is widely known/assumed as Williams.

If the Raiders are moving up to 3 then they have inside info that we're not taking Daniels...imo.

It is not and it would be nice if people would steel man takes instead of straw manning them, but alas, no such luck.

How many people mentioned pressure to sack ratio? His 5th year breakout as an old as hell prospect beating up on 18-20 year olds (not many elite players stick around in college for 5 years, even during covid), how many are concerned about the lack of throws when under pressure, how many are worried that his QBR #'s are largely utterly anonymous until his 5th year in college (55th, 41st, 18th) how many are worried about his use of the field in its entirety, of his telegraphing intent (rarely throws on the run), his scary frame is alarming, like RGIII, and yes, that's a piece of the critique, but for many of us, certainly those of us who post most often critically of him, his frail build is just one of numerous issues we have of him, and to suggest its just RGIII is nonsense. Period. The RGIII analogy is bad enough, even if inaccurate, but the issues we have with him are legion. If it was just size/health, I'd be 1/5th to 1/10th as worrried as I am and ftr, I would have loved to have drafted Kyler, and Richardson, but no, not Daniels.

RG3 and Richardson are injury prone and both missed time in college. RG3 even tore his ACL at Baylor.

Yeah Jayden is slight but he's missed one game in 55 starts.  The kid is tough just watch the videos of him chasing down defensive players after they pick his pass.  He has that dog in him.

That was a good Cooley read on Maye. It might be for the best if he is not drafted, and why? Because this fan base is real hard on QB (deservedly so) and i think if Maye started right away and was not good, the fanbase might explode into negativity.

It would be a disservice to Maye to start him right away. He obviously needs a ton of work.

I'd be really interested to see if there is an age skew to our QB preferences.  My speculation (with ZERO data to back this up.... so don't ask) is that older fans prefer Drake Maye and younger fans prefer Jayden Daniels.  It feels like Drake Maye fits the older prototypical QB mold that everyone used to look for - a player with tools that can grow into a high upside ceiling.  Daniels seems to fit the more recent mold of many successful QBs.

Again.... all of this is just speculative

I'd argue that the top 3 QBs in the league are not prototypical. They are unicorns (Mahomes, Lamar, Allen). This is a copycat league...everyone looking for the next unicorn.

I don’t expect you to care because I’m nobody, but you are moments from being blocked because you don’t know how a message board conversation works. Go back and read what you typed, that I quoted. Then read what I said. Then respond.

Or keep just saying random stuff that has nothing to do with why I quoted you in the first place, and I’ll wish you well.

I was responding to someone else and then you quoted me because you didn't like what I said? So huh?

How many times we made it that simple in game day threads and not pull it off?

Big reason Ravens get high seeds and nothing for them is because most defense can't fully contain Lamar like you're saying here.

At some point they run into a defense in the playoffs that can.

These running QBs are an illusion to being successful, we are close to all QBs being dangerously mobile in some way, and defenses are adjusting..see how quick defenses adjusted to read option.  It helps but this is still a passing league.

I would love the opportunity of a high seed and an NFC Championship appearance.

It's not like we're winning games right now. Y'all make me laugh with this rhetoric.

Jayden seems like a good kid, but how can all of this bull**** be purely on his agent without any input from him? Seems a bit far fetched to me.

(I know this has already been beaten to death by some, but I wonder if maybe his mom is one of the people complaining behind the scenes?)

No, it's not. Stop assuming stuff that you want to believe.
