You ever felt like you were getting ridden at work unnecessarily? And then you make little mistakes you usually don’t because you’re feeling pressure? I know I have at times. Not all the time. But it’s happened to me.

I'm going through this right now at work. ****ing hate my supervisor, praying I land a new job soon. Work life is miserable and I work from home. Woooosah....sorry, this post spoke to my soul, carry on.

    Overview

Big slot target who comes from high-end NFL bloodlines and who showed noticeable improvement in his second season at the position. Luke lacks the size of his father, former Pro Bowl receiver Ed McCaffrey, and the explosiveness of his brother, Offensive Player of the Year Christian McCaffrey, but he catches with soft hands, great focus and extreme toughness. McCaffrey struggles to release and bypass press coverage and might not have enough separation quickness or top-end speed to uncover against NFL defenders. However, with additional time to learn the position and fine-tune his route running, McCaffrey might be able to follow his dad and brother into the league as a possession slot receiver.

    Strengths

    • The former QB took a big step forward in his second season at receiver.
    • Accelerates into top speed fairly quickly.
    • Fearless into the teeth of the defense and excels at combat catches.
    • Route running improved over the second half of 2023.
    • Made jaw-dropping one-handed catches with coverage draped over him.
    • Focus drops do not exist in his dojo.

    Weaknesses

    • Had trouble releasing cleanly against serious press attempts.
    • Movement is more one-speed than sudden and shifty.
    • Still needs work getting in and out of breaks more quickly.
    • Can improve with adjustments coming back to deep throws.

In some of these highlights, his QB's last name is "Daniels"............good omen

  3. Great, now if this mother****er turns into a beast, I gotta remember that we're responsible for giving him to the eagles. Adam Peters, this aint San Fran, this is the NFC East. Dont give ANY of those mother****ers ANYTHING in a trade unless its for a kings ransom or if its in later rounds.

You are a damn fool if you think that somebody so skinny as QB will go free of injury

    I'm a damn fool?

Lucky its close to the draft, and Im not about to risk getting banned LOL....

And I didnt say that he would be "free from injury", I said that definitively saying that he will have a "injury plagued career" is jinxing us (or whichever team that drafts him). Our fans jinx us more than our rivals.......Probably why our team is always trash.

I wish Dan Snyder wouldve took a lot of you determined to be miserable PTSD having ass fans with him when he left.

I never said he did. I said he openly stated his preferences were Las Vegas and Minnesota. Only when specifically asked, he responded to Washington, with a "yeah, I guess" kind of attitude. Body language matters. Tone matters. Given that and all the noise around TopGolf, his agent, it's a concern. No one wanted to believe RGIII's diva attitude during that draft either. You want to ignore it, fine. But to me, it's an issue.

Doesn't make a rookie a "Diva" for having a preference of where they would like to play. All rookies have a preference of where they'd like to play at.

If they come out ala Eli Manning and start saying where they refuse to play at, then that's different.

He is actually giving RG3 vibes with the whole top golf nonsense and talking about where he prefers to play. His half hearted endorsement of playing in Washington did little to alleviate that fear. I am hoping the Daniels noise is just that.

But then again I wanted Russell Okung over Trent Williams, so what do I know?

Jayden never once made public statement saying anything alluding to not wanting to play here. So, yall can hold on to that negative BS if yall want. The ONLY public statement he made was that he's "100% ok with being drafted by Washington".

YES.....Daniels is the next Randall Cunningham, the S.I dubbed "Ultimate Weapon" back in the day. All QB's get injured, he just has to play smart and the coaches need to enforce that with him.

Players at ALL positions get injured. Dont mean people in our fanbase need to jinx the dude talkin like he's destined to have a injury plagued career. Yall putting bad luck on us with that jinxing bull****.

I can see if we're talking about Pennix, who's had serious injuries in college, which has dropped his stock. Issues Jayden Daniels has can/will be coached out of him. He's not RG3.....

Wouldn't shock me if we gave him an extension next off season. Pointless to do one now since he's coming off his worst season. He's gonna wanna build that value back up. An extension next season to clear some cap room(not that we need it)and certify him as a Commander for life.

We dont need to "certify him as a Commander for life"......

We can match his production at half his price tag....

….anyone else think Jon Allen will want a contract re-do…..

Why? Did he realize that he's not living up to his current contract and wants to take a pay cut?  Dude had 5.5 sacks last season.
