So I suggested this to one of the execs last year when I was complaining that anyone who bought a ticket on the secondary market was taking advantage of the Gold perks because it was based on the ticket.   Glad someone was listening.

They only get the perks if they acquired a paper ticket last year.  If they buy a gold card on the secondary market it will be the same issue

So for those STH still following this thread...….does your decision to renew or not renew after this season rest SOLELY on the Bruce Allen decision? In other words, if Snyder fires him, are you renewing, or at this point are you out no matter what?

I most likely will renew.  My decision will have nothing to do with Bruce Allen

Picked up my signed Doug Williams Jersey as part of my Redskins Rewards points today which was great but another item wasn't there. And they asked me what I had ordered. I think I could have said anything.

They shut down the tents with Gold Member freebies because of wind but I managed to get to it inside the stadium. By time i got there though the only thing left was Notebooks which I was happy to get.

The free gloves were nice at the entrance.

They sent me through the App the winning number for the 50/50 and then showed a completely different number on the jumbo tron?! I lost both but I wonder how they handled two winners coming forward.

I skipped the fifth quarter party assuming it was mostly drinks and I had kids with me. Anybody else go?

It is like they are trying but don't quite get it all together.

They had a band a margaritas.  More people were coming in when I left

It's a cheeky way to say this team is far behind the times, as par for the course the Skins are great at falling behind in nearly everything.

How are they behind when they started digital ticketing with the rest of the league a couple of years ago?  The fans would be the ones falling behind.  The only thing the Skins are behind in this regard are the turnstiles that scan your ticket.  At fedex field they have the employees scan you in with their scanners

You weren't imagining that. I saw quite a few people sitting in those obstructed view seats behind me all season long. Not a lot....but a fair number of folks. Just as many Redskins fans as visiting fans IMHO.

Those rows in the back were not for sale at all last year.  Not even on stubhub. I think row 16 was the furthest up you could buy.  It looks like Skins are selling to ticket brokers again and it looks like they are starting out with high prices for these seats and SRO seats.  Skins must be pressuring them to start out high.

  6. Also when I went to the preseason game I notice they were scanning the barcodes to every parking pass coming in.  This seemed to be causing a delay and backup getting in.  I don't know if they were doing this last year but I remember when I had a parking pass you just had to show it and they waived you in.  So if you are using a parking pass I would advise getting there early

They are not all terrible. Some are actually quite good, particularly those in the middle of rows. The problem is the "good" seats vary from section to section as you move around the stadium because of the angle you are sitting from the pillars. If you are way back in the section, then the overhead view of punts and kickoffs will get cut off. Depending on what you pay, those seats can be a bargain. Remember, obstructed view seats ONLY exist on the visitors side. All home field side 200 level seats are some of the best seats in the house.

I'm talking about the seats from row 15 on up in the 200 level.  Check them out on ticketmaster they are priced over $200 each.

I did notice on Stubhub that the upper level SRO seats are available for purchase. Those sections I believe were closed/roped off last season.

I seen the SRO seats back up for sale too.  Don't be surprised if people buy those and just post up in the endzone decks and watch the game from there

Still no tickets. Now they are saying they are lost. What a joke. They are sending me generic tickets  lol 15 years season ticket holder , paid my bill in full in march and this is what i get ????

Did you go to the preseason game? You can go to the ticket office and ask for the season ticket box with the stuff in it and they'll give it to you.  I did that when I went to the Maryland vs Texas game last year.  I told them I got digital tickets but wanted the box that came with the paper tickets and they gave it to me.

  9. I noticed on ticketmaster the Redskins have began selling the terrible obstructed view seats behind row 15 in the 200 level again.  They had stopped selling these the last two years because they were so terrible but I guess they started reselling through a third party again.  The prices are pretty steep so there will be a lot of angry fans in the 200 level of the visitor side this year.

Lol digital tickets to watch our analog team

I don't know what this means but everything is digital ticketing now.  Not only the rest of the NFL but things like movies and local events like at bars.

Had season tickets for 9 years now and never got invited to the food tasting event.  Thought that was always for Club seat folks.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I sit in the lower level.  I think last year was different, I remember talking to a guy there who was a first time season ticket holder and his seats were on the 400 level.  I think most fans tend to ignore some of the emails the teams send.

First ever Redskins gold related thing.   Though more then 2 hr notice would have been nice.    Also not sure why they call it a presale when the tickets are free.

The Washington Redskins cordially invite you to our Draft Night event at The Anthem on Thursday, April 25! Watch the Redskins make their 1st-round selection, listen to live commentary from players and alumni, and more! As a Redskins Gold member, you get special presale access to Draft Night tickets.

It sold out in less than a day

They wanted the season tickets member to get a chance to get their tickets before the public.  Be on the look out for that Taste of Fedex Field event this year because I thought it was the best of last year.  I think it's going to be called something else this year

With the signing AD and him maybe keeping #26, Landon Collins should wear #21. As much as I loved Sean, this page needs to be turned. Its been 12 years... He was a great player for us and it broke all our hearts when he died, he was supposed to be the next great safety. The truth is, we will probably never have a safety with that much potential ever again, but If someone wants to wear 21 in his memory, just let them. We didnt win multiple super bowls with him, he didnt have a career littered with All-pro selections (although it would have been highly likely). So why the tight grip on that number?

Do something nice at the stadium to honor him like have game worn jerseys on display, something people can look at and appreciate the player that we had. (Maybe they already have a section in the stadium?)

This is one of the main reasons 21 should be and will be sacred along with the other Redskin greats.

Also have you made a trip to Fedex since the death of Taylor?  The team literally has Sean Taylor's whole locker on display on the club level, his name in the Ring of Fame, and a big #21 on the grass outside the ticket office.

    You mean, "Fool's Gold".

Typically at least one of three things go up every year:  Tickets, Parking, or Beer.

None of the prices for these items have gone up in years.  Beer is actually 4 dollars at the Budlight endzone until kickoff but I just buy my own beer and tailgate

A fan isn't "fake" just because he or she stays home and blogs all day.  Or because they no longer want to financially support an organization that is among the top five worst run in all of sports, one that simply refuses to do what it takes to win (hire and empower a real GM).  A fan can still support the team "win or lose" without buying season tickets.

We all have our reasons for renewing, or not renewing.  I personally am not renewing this season because what's the point?  I can just get seats in my section on ticketmaster and not have to pay for preaseason and the crappy games at the end of the year.  Does that make me less of a fan?   I'm still supporting the team and rooting for them but I'm choosing to not waste money this year on games I don't attend.  But I know people (the guy who sits next to me at games) who's renewing his three seats because he just can't stand the idea of not having them in his family, even though he knows it makes no financial sense.  That works for him, same as it works for the guy who's not renewing because he hates Bruce Allen, as I do.

We all have our reasons.  I think the only lesson is not to take advice on how "change happens" in society from a guy who doesn't know the difference between "your" and "you're."

This thread seems about info on season ticket renewals but the miserable fans come in to troll.

You all can cry all you want, but I can only see “fans” that say season tickets holders are a part of the problem or would rather their team relocate as nothing but FAKE.   I understand the reasons people don’t get seasons tickets financial/travel whatever but I love going to the games and I’m not sorry about it.

I hope you guys enjoy your season tickets.  I hate to criticize you and don't want to rob you of what brings you joy in going to games.  But all of you are contributing to things never changing here.  It is the hard and sad truth.

🙄Let me guess your apart of society that believes change happens by tweeting hashtags.  I put any Skins fans that show up and support the team win or lose over any fake fan who stays home and blogs all day.  That's the real truth

How many people opted into just digital tickets vs having them printed... I am on the fence I love my ticket stubs but just having to use my phone is amazing.

Get the printed tickets. They will charge you $25 shipping anyway.  You can still you the digital ticket for the game and keep the printed as a souvenir

  18. Based on that press release from the new COO it like they're taking out the seats under the video board where the band sat.  They're saying it's going to be a new fan pavilion there with views to the field

Anyone get any discounts or special perks for renewing tickets? I couldn't bring myself to renew this year but they're still trying to push them on me. Still leaning towards passing but if they can offer anything to sweeten the deal I might reconsider. GA seats.

You missed out on going to OTAs.  Log on to redskinsrewards you might can get an autographed jersey.  I got a field pass from there a couple of seasons ago
