I’ve been busy today and sort of barricaded in my home office. Just checked the news. Huzzah!
so what are we thinking? Bad Grandpa. Don the Con. Donny Jailbird. Big house Blowhard. Payoff Putz.Given that he was brought down by a porn star, I feel Shawskank Redemption is apt.

Questions regarding the sentencing...
- Will the defendant be offered the chance to make a statement?
- Yes, if he wants to. Most likely it'll be a bunch of "i'm a political prisoner!" BS, but he's allowed to do it.
- Can a lack of remorse be a factor on the sentence imposed?
- Sure, especially if he goes on a bender and starts attacked the judge, the jurors, witnesses, etc. This kind of thing is at the purview of the Judge.
- Do you think that the constant defaming of the judge and his family by the defendant will weigh on the mind - and affect the decision - of that very judge who must impose the sentence?
- I'm sure Judge Merchan is tired of his bull****. However, he's acted with absolute integrity and professionalism this entire trial, and I don't think he wants to give ammo to Trumps attorneys on appeal, so I'm sure he'll be as even handed/lenient as makes sense.
Another thing I can think of is that Trump's attorneys are going to ask for a stay of enforcement of imprisonment pending appeal. This kind of thing is exceptionally rare to grant; convicts are rarely (almost never) given that consideration, but somehow I can almost guarantee Trump won't see the inside of a cell before the election. If Merchan doesn't grant the stay, the court of appeals will, and if the COA won't, then the Supreme Court definitely will.
As much as I'd like to see Mango Mussolini in an orange jumpsuit, I don't think that happens before the appeals are settled. He's a former President, and the courts will go out of their way for him.

It’s so on brand for that rascally Trump to get CONVICTED of 34 counts as a distraction to the news of the video of him using the n hard r word video coming out. 👏
If there's gonna be one thing to distract from a scandal, i'd definitely prefer it to be him getting convicted of a bunch of felonies. The racist POS getting the double whammy today is the icing on the cake.

I prefer Presidents that aren't tangerine-tinted convicted felons.
Sad.

The floor year one = your favorite QB, ranked 8-25.
I like where your head is at, but I'm going to wait until he takes at least 4 or 5 snaps in a regular season game before I decide what his floor/ceiling will be.

Yes, lying. You pretending to laugh about it doesn't change it.

I don’t need convincing about Daniels, you do.
Can you guys just have a death match (using medieval weapons preferably), and film it for the rest of us?
It's the only logical way to complete this argument while still entertaining us.- 4

I'll be shocked if we even fall behind in a game this season.
20-0.

Love the Sinnott pick. Dude's athleticism is off the charts. Fast, and has some wiggle to him in the open field. Him learning from Ertz as well...you really couldn't ask for a better mentor.

Mark Maske gave the Commanders the worse grade...WTF
Maske is a stone-cold buster. I hope he gets stuck in an elevator with David Tepper after a heavy Thai lunch.

Since we're only drafting small dudes, is there a 5'8 OT available?
Would really round out the roster.

We bit early he was my target for 67 but this kid is a slot stud
Can you go have a word with Peters and get him back on track? Dude is overdrafting already SMH

Maybe we punt on CB this year and see how Forbes and St Juste look with a new coach
Or maybe since we drafted a super undersized DB last year, we're going to use Newton as our nickle DB to balance the scales?

I never liked Maye at all anyway.
Wore a weird shade of blue on his jersey, strange haircut, and has two completely non-unique elbows.

Sooooooo the Penix pick. No faith for Kirk Cousins I guess🤷
Kirk is going to be 36 when the season starts. It makes sense to have a young kid or two behind him to learn the ropes and take over eventually.

If I had a dollar for every pound of Jayden Daniels, I could buy a used DVD player.

Welcome to the Commanders Jayden Daniels QB LSU

As crazy as this is, the craziest part was that he was clocked at 22 MPH... running backwards.
Get him fitted for his gold jacket now and save some time.
