i've heard enough of this nonsense...so i came here to vent.

something that is really bottling the mind today is how sooooooo many fans/"experts" are soooooooo quick to point out how nervous they are to expect Kirk Cousins to have even a remotely similar season to last year.  but that's not the worst of it.  what's so mind-numbing is that these exact same people are very insistent that Dak Prescott...with his enormous 1 NFL Preseson profile, is going to have a blowout rookie season.  

with one, you have 9, or 10 games worth of NFL starter film against regular season defenses.  with the other, you have what...6 quarters of Preseason vanilla fluff to base that off of?  

& yeah...i know most of this is born from a conflagration of Dalla$$ pandering, & recent Redskins team history...but seriously?  "i just don't know if we can expect Cousins to perform near the level he did last year." --- "i think Dak is going to light up NFL defenses this season, & have one rookie season for the records.  i think Dalla$$ could go to the Superbowl, or at least challenge in the NFC Championship game."

just had to get that off my chest.  i'm good.

Practice/OTA/TC attire is usually entirely departed from regular season gear in almost every way except for the helmets. Nothing to see here.

35 here...used to like the white pants, love the gold/yellow...white doesn't belong in our Burgundy & Gold color combo. I would be ok with burgundy, but i really just prefer the gold pants.

Ultimately, i'm a sucker for the "BC" throwbacks. I absolutely love those unis. Every time i see them on highlights, & such, they just stand out to me as a pure football uni. Especially with the non-striping on the helmets. I would be absolutely ecstatic if we went with those full time....but that's just me.

I am actually a little shocked that so many Redskins fans don't like the "gold" part of the "burgundy & gold" tradition, & would prefer the white pants so much. I'm just not a fan of white football pants, period. I don't like them on any team.

I once believed that i hated IPA's...i now know that i just need the really good stuff. Doubles, & triples all day.

That game was the absolute epitome of how one can loathe soccer.

1) ANY OTHER SPORT & both players get sent off. You shouldn't be allowed to instigate like that & not wind up losing out just as well. I won't listen to otherwise.

2) Costa should have been sent off TWICE outside of that....first for the 2 elbows, & the backhanded slap against Kos. Then for the crap he pulled with Ox.

3) why i love hockey, MLB, MLS, & NFL football. If you pull that crap in those leagues...someone's going out on a stretcher.

Now maybe the AFC players didn't have the stones to go a lynchin' (in the non-racial sense)...but rest assured, someone's either getting their knees taken out, cross-checked head-first into the boards, two-footed, or chin-music if you play that busch league garbage in any of the other leagues i mentioned.

That was absolute crap. If i ever see Costa, or that ****ass Mourinho on the street, you can rest assured i will accidentally spill some scalding hot coffee, & shout some slanted obscenities in the process (non-racial of course). That, or just kick the living **** out of their balls...literally.

Should be an interesting game tomorrow evening with the Galaxy vs Montreal. Drogba has been beastly (spare me the competitive balance regurgitation) since coming onto the team, & the Galaxy have some weary players from the Int'l break.

No apologies here...i'm a HUGE fan of the current look. I actually really miss the faux collar look on the 1st Nike away kits. Looks a lot like a classy soccer rag. Super happy i was able to get one before they went away.

I was a fan of the all-whites, but when i look at old pictures....not so much anymore.

The all burgundy unis always have a place in my heart as that's the uni we wore on my 2 youth titles, but our helmets were white, & i think it looked better that way.

If i'm being 100% honest with myself...i like the throwback "BC" unis the most. I wouldn't even mind it with the spear helmet (i roll with that combo a lot on Madden) or the faux leatherhead.

In all...i like the stark look the current unis provide. The colors really make each other, & it's sort of an announcement. That said...i'm always open for change, & I'll finish with...it seems like anyone not named the Steelers or Packers has gone through some drastic uniform change right as they became contenders. Going as far back as the '90's Cowpies, 9ers, & Broncos. Perhaps our turn is coming?
