  1. I was ready to jump back in when I noticed my invoice did not give the location for my parking. It says "Redskins Parking" without the lot location. Did they change the format of the invoice or is my location subject to their whims due to late payment? I'll call on Monday, if necessary, but I'd rather find out here.

I've seen something about this recently, from what I recall re went to white pants with burgundy jerseys and burgundy pants with white jerseys when Beathard became GM in 79, but I don't think we switched to white jerseys at home until Gibbs in 81

This is all correct, except Beathard became GM in '78 . The burgundy jerseys with white pants at home did begin in '79,

  3. Got my tickets today.  My favorite part the letter it came with to ticket holders:

Variable Pricing:  With Variable Pricing you individual game tickets will better reflect the value and expected demand of each game, pre-season and regular season............................

Every ticket of mine is the same price except the 2 - preseason.  Your telling me the game vs the Browns has the same demand as vs the Cowboys?

Do you really expect the Redskins to accurately appraise the market value of the tickets they sell?

  4. ...the pickings are considerably slimmer this year than last. Last year, when my window opened, there were a bunch of seats in 224 and 225 available as pairs, but not this year. There were also a ton of LL endzone seats available, but again...not this year.

Right now, there are a ton of seats together in section 452 (including 11 together) if anybody looking to consolidate seats.

Last year they didn't offer former season ticketholders first choice over upgraders of available seating to entice them back - that we know of.

  5. Very nice ticket package this year. It's contained in a nice dual-photograph envelope and has a nice Redskins 2015 Season Ticket Holder pin for each season ticket. I like it!

Reminds me of the last pair of PF Flyers I got.

And I did get parking passes for the pre-season games.

  6. lol, what are they gonna do with the hundreds of seats available? in some cases (212,116, 230, etc), it looks like darn near entire sections are available.

They'll be reclassified and put up for sale each week as seat returns of that week's visiting team's allotment.

  7. Very nice report, Tshile. Thanks for making such an effort to share with the board.

The biggest question I have from what you reported is how do they know who veteran tailgaters are and how do they know where they tailgate? I've met Bruce Allen twice during tailgating and he is VERY personable but putting out a blanket statement that veteran tailgaters will not be forced to move sounds a politician-like promise. We're everywhere, in every lot (except Platinum). I don't see how they'll address issues with tailgaters without making some of us move.

I like the complaints about the Dream Seats and the Obstructed View seats. Get rid of both of them and make most of the Lower Bowl like an NFL stadium instead of the Plebe section of an Army-Navy game.

Did anyone ask about the reported sideline Lower Bowl seat offerings with free Green parking to ex-season ticketholders?

  8. Is this part of the promised new fan loyalty program? Fans who dumped their tickets one - two years ago are offered better seats than current season ticket holders - before they have a chance to upgrade - and get free Green parking to boot.

    Nice!

  9. Perhaps I am misunderstanding your post, but I have had 2 tickets since FedEx opened and have received a regular Green Parking Pass for every game, every year.

You were grandfathered, as was I, because we had parking before that policy existed.

  10. It think LL are nice, but I opted to stay UL and put in upgrade to move closer to the 50. I am currently in row 3 on the 30 and sitting in the first 5 rows is pretty awesome! I would like sideline LL, but no one really ever makes it over there anytime soon if at all. I was just wondering if there are some other STH that are staying UL over upgrading to LL because they actually like it better?

I'm staying in the UL because I despise endzone seats - with or without the big screen - despite the obvious advantage of getting out of the stadium quicker. I'm trying to move from Section 429, row seven to Section 428 because 429 has handicapped seating where the first three rows normally are.

    because they are Dbags :)

Nothing like telling it like is! :ols:

  11. :poke:

I personally like B3.... If you park in the area I park at its a 10 minute walk maybe if that.... and you get out quick :)

Alot of my friends park in regular green which sucks, so I am hoping to get regular green this year :)

If B3 is so good, why don't your friends join you there?

  12. It didn't go to every upper level ticket holder -- at least not yet. I've got seats in the front half of the sidelines and didn't get the e-mail.

Anyone in the lower sidelines in the upper deck get this e-mail?

I got it and I'm in Section 429, row 7.

  13. I just got a 'thank you for paying, upgrades will be processed shortly' email.

I just got the same e-mail. While it's nice to be notified, it seems like they are going to generate a lot of needless calls to the TO the way the e-mail is worded. Even though it says no action is required if you've already made your upgrade preference election, I imagine a lot of people will call anyway.

  14. On a side note, has anyone on here ever upgraded 3 tickets? I was considering adding a 3rd ticket this season because of another family member going to games, but I'm not sure if that would help or hurt my upgrade chances. I'm in the lower level and just want to get closer to midfield.

Having an odd number of tickets has a history of much quicker upgrades. I'm not sure if that remains the case now that ticket holder tenure is thrown into the upgrade equation.

  15. Agreed with this. I tried many times to start out with a green, but I'm stuck with gray.

I would try dropping by the TO in person a few times 1-2 weeks before the first preseason game. It seems that's the time when parking passes are available but not assigned. Turning you down in person might be a little harder for them, especially if you show up more than once.

Make sure you bring your Grays with you. You'll have to trade them in before they'll hand you Greens.
