Wait. How did it make you feel worse? He literally laid out all the reasons they liked jayden. It didn’t seem like a choice that was made on a whim. 
 

After watching this I’m ok with the pick. And this is coming from someone who initially wanted to keep Sam and trade back.

I mean we took who was the general consensus number 2 pick. And one of the announcers on espn even had jayden listed number 1. Even if he is a bust it’s not a bad pick because all the experts had him going there. I’m ok with it. Welcome to Washington JD.

One would argue if you want to build for the future you don’t want to be competitive and take higher draft picks. But I prefer this method lol

I haven't read through all the pages of this thread so not sure if it has been touched on. Did anyone see the very minimal effort made by Payne on the GW FG? everyone on the line is in the air trying to block the kick and Payne is just standing there. Guess whos head the ball went over? I understand its a low percentage chance its blocked but dude you are paid well to play. Make an effort. Its really kind of infuriating. 

Sam’s a baller but my heart dropped when brown ran it in with 50 seconds left. I looked at my brother and said too much time. 
 

Sam has had several of these comebacks and the defense lets him down again. Dude deserves better. The fans deserve better.

Being 36 I am too young to remember the glory years. My fandom consist of mostly pain. I have not been as emotionally invested in this team the last few years because I was tired of losses defining my mood for most of the week. Despite our record I feel hope for this team and find myself actually tearing up a bit reading some of the positive commentary on Sam. Have we found our guy finally? It's kinda feeling that way. God I hope so!

Really good first half outside of one bad call on the 4th and 1. Running the clock there should have been huge. I feel like we always have these games against the eagles where we play well and let them double dip before and after the half. 

So not only do we not run they get to keep a timeout now. First bad play call of the game
