  1. Not sure, I have heard that we will wear them at least once, maybe more though.
  2. Crocop looked intimidated, he had never been knocked out brutally like he was against Gonzaga and that could have an effect on why he's not showing that aggressiveness that he's known for. He needs some coaching or something to get him back on track and get his confidence back. That being said, Kongo looks like a force in the HW division. That division has improved by leaps and bounds since the Pride acquisition.
  3. That was a pretty good fight, I give it to Rampage.
  4. Did Goldberg say that Fedor is being signed? He said something like "Randy already knows"
  5. Dana White had better have Wandy fight Chuck for his first fight. Plus I think Alexander would be a very good style match-up against Shogun. Griffin, I'm not sure about. Maybe he should fight the loser of the fight? :whoknows: I just think that as dominant as Alexander has been in his last two fights, he deserves to fight someone that has made a name for himself.
  6. Anyone think Houston Alexander will get a shot at the winner of Shogun/Griffin? I say he's earned it.
  7. Pitiful decision. Matt Hamill got absolutley cheated. Anyone know if the judges are different than usual, or do they have different judges for every event or what?
  8. Exactly. From what I've read he's a very cool dude outside the ring. I think it would be cool to chill with Fedor for a day (minus the language barrier of course).
  9. Two funny pictures I found of the most badass man in the world.... The man knows how to attack some ice cream too And he loves animals
  10. The more I think about it this is a very good PPV. I agree with these picks minus the Bisping fight. I see him winning by TKO, I think his takedown defense is underrated and he has the home crowd behind him, which will make a difference. Also, I still think the Hendo/Rampage fight is up in the air but I do pick Rampage to take itby decision. However, I could see Hendo landing one of those nasty right hands and ending the fight early. Houston Alexander will likely prove that the Jardine fight wasn't a fluke. He did take a shot and get knocked down early in that fight before he came back with all of those uppercuts, so I look at this fight as him proving he's the real deal. I've heard that he wasn't super-impressive in some of his smaller fights out in the midwest but it's very likely that he's improved. Also, Marcus Davis has to be the most improved fighter yet to emerge from TUF. I look for him to win.
  11. I'm looking forward to the Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone's fight. I discovered him on "TapouT" on the Vs. channel. He's an interesting fighter because his strong point is his Muay Thai, yet he's won all of his MMA matches (7 total) by submission. He's a really cool dude too.
  12. Damn dude I hope so. I like that signature by the way.
  13. Yeah I don't think he has to worry about hand injuries in sambo. Didn't he only have one hand injury though? I didn't think it was an ongoing problem. If UFC wants to be the best organization out there, then they will break the bank and sign Fedor. Their heavyweight division, which basically consisted of just Tim Sylvia and Andrei Arlovski about 10 months ago, is now very deep and very interesting. Fedor would have the most competition in the UFC and if he's thrown in the mix there are so many scenarios that can happen. I do think that Fedor's people want to see some events in Russia, and while the UFC are planning on going worldwide (starting in about a week actually, it's only London, but that's a start in going international) I don't see them having events in Russia anytime soon.
  14. Babalu released: http://www.mmaweekly.com/absolutenm/templates/dailynews.asp?articleid=4605&zoneid=13 Who didn't see that one coming?
  15. Me too but they'd be turning down a HUGE opportunity if they don't sign him for some dumb reason like not wanting him to participate in his sambo tournaments. I wouldn't be concerned about injury with a guy like him.
  16. Fedor to meet with UFC officials today http://www.sherdog.com/news/news.asp?n_id=8793 If they pick up Fedor, the UFC will be the hands-down dominant MMA organization probably for good.
  17. I've seen that one before...classic!
  18. Boxing vs. MMA: Lou DiBella gets owned by Joe Rogan on ESPN http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1282856826114200037&q=rampage+espn&total=8&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=2
  19. Of course you would say so. I'm done with the topic until NSAC & UFC announce what Babalu's punishment will be, we can discuss it then, because we obviously aren't seeing eye to eye.
  20. A Good open letter I found on the Sherdog forums about the Babalu choke out: http://www.sherdog.net/forums/showthread.php?threadid=630389
  21. What BJ Penn did was wrong too. Who cares if I never said anything about Penn's choke? That doesn't make it right. Who am I, Dana White? The Babalu choke was wrong and it is against the rules, end of story. You can't argue that it's not against UFC rules or that the NSAC doesn't find it wrong because they obviously do. As I mentioned earlier, Babalu has already lost half of his purse on that fight and the NSAC will allegedly be reviewing it again this Friday so he will likely face other punishment, not to mention what the UFC will do about it.
