I LOVE seeing our colors... OUR Uniforms... being worn by current admin! This might be what brings them back! DG is LOOOOONG overdue to have his # retired. We need to further retire 44, 7 & 81... maybe one per year for the next few years...

So let me get this straight... our home unis are burgundy & gold... our road unis are red/white/black... and our alternate unis are black & yellow... 

Giants are gonna put 40 on this defense. Pathetic!

Realistically, we get in the playoffs... and the game in which we get eliminated from the playoffs it'll be a 23-10-ish loss and we'll be saying that Alex Smith needs to go because he's a statue in the pocket.

Remember when Cleveland bailed out Houston by taking Osweiler's HUGE cap number AND Houston sent Cleveland a 1st round pick just to be rid of the contract???

Maybe we use OUR cap space to take Wentz PLUS Philthy gives us a draft pick.

Anyone have any news on the Skins new color change?  Article says just a slight color change... I was wondering if these have already been rolled out for training camp or if they might have an unveiling for the season opener...?

I freakin LOVED our Super Bowl uniforms!  I have missed them SOOOO much!

The yellow pants have got to go!!!  Basically our current uniform is just a replica of Green Bay, just with B&G.

This post is 100% the antithesis of my feelings.

I watched both NFC divisional games this weekend, and I pointed out to my wife how great it was that there were four teams in action who ALL wore traditional designs. It was great...everything I love about the NFL.

You took the feelings right out of my mouth, heart and gut!

I know nothing about cars. A few months back I did a slide out on a slick road and did a 180 into a dirt ditch in my PT Cruiser. I was able to get out of the ditchby going back and forth a bit and my tires were spinning in the process.

Since then my left front tire squeaks when I turn going slow or fast. The car runs fine but this squeak can't be a good thing.

Is it just that I need to grease it up? Should i take it into the shop? I don't want to get ripped off. Is this common if you get stuck in dirt/mud? How much should I expect to pay at mechanic?

Any help is appreciated.

The way the Giants are looking on defense and with all their injuries, we might be able to go get all the old players form 1970 to suit up and still beat them...lol

...might as well give our regulars a break...

What makes you think Snyder will wait for that? He's a marketing 'genius', so we'll probably see the following first:

2008: 30th anniversary of the 9-5 Monday Night win over the Cryboys

2009: 30th anniversary of the Redskins current uniforms/10th anniversary of Snyder buying the team

2010: 30th anniversary of the firing of Jack Pardee, hiring of Gibbs (who, by this time, will have also been fired)

2011: 40th anniversary of Redskins first playoff appearance since 1945

2012: 40th anniversary of current Redskins helmet

2013: 5th anniversary of the 30th anniversary of the 9-5 Monday Night win over the Cryboys...

Let's face it...the pants and jerseys from that old era lack creativity...when you keep our current whites and currents dark pants and throw that Script R helmet on, it makes me tinkle in my very pants! AWESOME!

i think something needs to be added, i dont know what... maybe its a super bowl patch I was looking at my jersey and i realized how plain it is.. ne patches or shoulder logo, its just a plain colored jersey with numbers and two stripes... (I guess at least its not as plain as the giants. But maybe something like the jets little logo thingy on the chests.

Maybe a patch that says "Commemorating the 10th, 70th or 75th year of the Redskins" since it is debatable what the patch should say...

The franchise started as the Boston Braves in 1932 which would make them 75...but they moved to Washington in 1937 which would make them 70...but they moved to Maryland in 1997 which would make them 10...in 1986 they had the 50 year payches so at that time they were celebrating the 50 yrs in Washington...but in 2002 they had the 70 yr thingy which means they were looking at 1932...

I think our current uniforms look way outdated. Not timeless like the hated cowboys who have terrific uniforms. Of the current variety I like the white on white. But I would love to see the Retro uniforms on a permanent basis.

The retro unis are just BONE UGLY! Not to mention the loser mentality that they bring...we got our arses handed to us in the 1960's when we wore them and then again in 2002 when we wore them.

Any new uniform would probably be just another spin off of the Broncos and Cardinals, but in out own colors.

We have been to 5 Super Bowls wearing the same helmet (only the feather has been changed slightly) and 4 Super Bowls wearing the same white on red...the Redskins are a part of Super Bowl lore and should not be changed.

I have said it many times before...

There are certain uniforms in the NFL that should NOT be changed...aside from the Redskins, IMO the classics are the Packers, Bears, Raiders, Dolphins, Colts, Chiefs, and Steelers.

Most of these teams have had some sort of tweaking over the years but in todays world, these are classic and should not be changed...I would have added Dallas to this list but, well, ya know...

Will someone PLEASE come up with some new thread topics? 10 Different Dre Bly/Denver trade threads on the first page alone...now another uniform thread...no wonder people are avoiding the Stadium like the plague.

It also means, LOSERS.

It means Redskins of the mid to late 60's, who were losers. The 2002 Redskins were losers.

Enough with the transparent money making schemes and why not focus on building a winner first?

The Redskins can make the 07 season special by fielding a good team, not by "celebrating" the 75th anniversary with gimmick uniforms and trotting out former players at halftime yet again while the current team is 2-6 or something.

I'm sick and tired of "showbusiness".

We had horrible teams in the 60's...and getting ripped every time we wore them in 2002 was embarrasing. They are dull and the pants looks like mustard.
