Lomachenko looked fantastic last weekend. His footwork was incredible. Martinez had no idea where VL was in the ring all night long.
Plus, that KO will be in the running for KO of the year. Lifted his head up with the uppercut and put him out with the hook.

I had this friday night...Lost Abbey Port Brewing (who own the THC label) have opened a tasting room about a mile from my house. Every time I go there they have an awesome THC seasonal on tap.
I really liked this one a lot..
They also have a "Dank and Sticky" (winter brew I believe) that is amazing as well
I like almost everything from Lost Abbey and Port Brewing.
When I went to San Diego a few years ago to check out some breweries, Port Brewing's Pizza Port was my favorite stop. Some of the best pizza I've ever had to go along with a ton of great craft beers.

Had the latest offering from The Hop Concept last night called "Galaxy & Comet" and WOW is it ever good. About as dank as any IPA I can remember having in a while...
-
Tried a few newer (?) offerings from Great Lakes...
Steady Rollin' Session IPA is a decent session. Light, drinkable, would like a little more of the hop bitterness to come through but could definitely put a few of these away on a hot summer day.
Hop by Numbers IPA is not very good IMO. Awfully malty for a beer with "Hop" in its name. Perhaps people that do not like the bitterness of most IPAs would enjoy this, but I would not buy it again.

Regarding the best beer bar article......
Churchkey is unbelievable. If any of you guys get the chance to check it out, do not hesitate. Probably the best beer bar i have ever been to. Went there a few months ago when i was in DC for the ACC tournament.

it really is awesome. Try the Creme Brulee, you wont be dissapointed with that either.
I've had it. It's a good choice for a night cap. Couldn't drink more than one though due to how sweet it is.

In case anyone is interested Southern Tier Pumking is available. Quite pricey, but absolutely worth it.

i'm going to go with Mosely in the upset. people forget that Cotto was about boxing Marg before Marg broke his will.
Shane has a better chin and more heart than Cotto, i'm guessing he has enough in the tank to outbox Marg for a close decision victory. Marg gets buy on pressure and an iron chin, he's still not a technical boxer by any means so Shane will have his opportunities to score, his chin just has to hold up.
I'm going with Margarito with a late round KO.
I think it will be a close fight too. Shane won't be able to hurt Margarito and I think Marg will pressure him so much throughout the fight that his chin won't hold up. Similar to the Cotto fight.

I don't care who Hatton fights next, I just want Pacquiao/Mayweather to happen while people still care.
+1
I was excited to see the Hatton/Pac fight fall through.

Will Pac destroy Mayweather?
I don't think so.....
I think that fight would be fantastic. It would be a tough one to pick, but I would probably have to go with Mayweather until proven otherwise.

Apparently Margarito turned down a fight with Punisher to fight Mosley for less $. Believe me, if anyone avoided anyone, Margarito avoided Paul. Paul's the type who will fight ANYONE, anywhere, at any weight class. He wouldn't avoid Margarito (hell, he beat him already, I'm sure he'd love a second fight).
I wasn't saying that I thought Punisher was avoiding Margarito, I was just saying that I thought Margarito always complained about everyone avoiding him. So, it's funny to me that he would be dodging Punisher.
Geeeez....why on earth is Calzaghe v Jones considered on the best of 2008 list...I was thinking the same thing. That fight has no business being on any "Best of" list.....
Update on a possible PacMan/Hatton fight.Pac will destroy Hatton....

another dominating win for the Punisher, depsite suffering a nasty cut in the first round as result of a headbutt.
Williams' body work was impressive, he essentially made Phillips quit on his stool. Verno's a tough dude, hadn't been stopped in 20yrs, yet Paul made him quit.
Margarito needs to man up and sign the contract
Is Margarito really refusing to sign a contract to fight Williams? I thought that was always the cry from the Margarito camp; that everyone was avoiding HIM. I'd love to see that fight.....
What do you think of the rumors of PBF coming out of retirement? Do you think he would fight Manny. I'd love to see that too....

Local fighter Eric "Mighty Mouse" Aiken on ESPN2 tomorrow.
Darnell Wilson next week.
I was glad to see my local boy Meza-Clay stop Aiken in that fight.
Here is the recap if anyone is interested: http://sports.espn.go.com/broadband/video/videopage?videoId=3226779&categoryId=2491554
I work a few blocks away from the Expo Mart in Monroeville. If I didn't have to work Friday night, I would have went to this... work blows.

Been putting away a bunch of Victory's Kirsch Gose recently.
Shoveled 4.5 tons of landscaping stone in mid 90 degree heat last Saturday and this tasted fantastic.
Decent tartness and a little salty. Like alcoholic Gatorade...
