Oh that tax-payer funded stadium Danny wants is gone.
Forget the fact that we rank DEAD LAST in attendance, TV ratings, and merchandise revenue but tack on all the sexual assault accusations.
No city counsel is going to pony up tax payer money for his toy.

Interesting that Dan Snyder's alleged victims are planning to come forward and speak to congress, thus breaking their NDAs.
The victim I'm interested in listening to is the young lady who accused Snyder of sexual assault on his jet in 2009. He settled with the victim for 1.6 million or something.

You all gonna be so mad when Blewitt misses his first few kicks
Hopkins was a sacrificial lamb. Yeah he struggles, but he also doesn't play defense or QB - this teams biggest issues.
This was another marketing move to get the fanabse (all 12 of us) to talk about this team.

Anyone seen or heard from the Team President since the massive PR debacle on Sunday?

I honestly don’t blame anyone for leaving this **** sandwich. This organization is an embarrassment on and off the field and I’m starting to question my morals for supporting this dumpster fire. I feel that I’ve somewhat lowered my standards by supporting Dan Snyder’s circus of fail. Everything this franchise does is low class, everything.
There’s no hope. None, zilch, nada. We have no quarterback, no talented players (except Terry) clueless coaches, and worst of all, that five foot sack of excrement is still there sitting in his high chair as the stepford wife spoon feeds him gruel.

I've always hated the chop, I feel it's extremely obnoxious and offensive. But obviously the "END RACISM" committee at the NFL don't feel that way.

Why does it feel we hired people to earn brownie points for diversity rather than actually hiring for best people? I’ve yet to be impressed with the new FO folks. Unless they are being handcuffed in their roles I’m not even slightly impressed.
I did not want to be the first to point this out but its starting to feel this way. This is snyder's modus operandi. Find a human shield, or better yet find a minority so the fans and press will go easier on said sheild for fear of being branded a racist or sexist. Why else did he give Tanya more control over operations?
When the team name debate was volatile, Dan hired an indigenous man (who was a legit Skins fan and not a plant) from Montana to oversee gameday experience at FedEx field. When the name changed, the young man was let go. It had nothing to do with the pandemic but the fact that Dan did not need an indigenous shield any longer.
I hope I'm wrong about all of this. I like Jason, he's the antithesis of Bruce Allen in both intellect and professionalism; I just feel that Jason has entered into a situation that cannot be saved. Same with Coach Rivera.

Sheehan makes it pretty obvious on his show this morning that the initial plan, and the ONLY plan, was to "rededicate" Sean Taylor Road this Sunday. That's why the family was invited and why a few players were invited. He got this info through calls and communications with other players, including Cooley, who says he was contacted by Tim Hightower to attend the alumni weekend but that Sean was NEVER mentioned to him.
Combined with the only 10,000 towels available, which clearly points to a rush job order, it's clear at this point that the retirement of the jersey was a last minute decision and that Wright is lying in his "brief." It's also pretty obvious that the sudden decision came from someone else. Gee, who could that be? Lol.
This is great intel from Sheehan.
And before everyone yells "fake news" or "he's a hater" Sheehan has been plugged into this franchise for decades. He keeps in touch with many former players, coaches, and staff.

The ironic thing is I think the fans outside of the the general "territory" are often way more excited to go see the team live because they only get that chance once every other season or so, it ends up being a big deal. When I saw them play the Rams in LA, before the new stadium was built, I swear it was 60-40 WFT fans there.
Same here in Florida. I went to the Skins-Dolphins game in 2019, lots of Burgundy in the crowd

“We didn’t realize that so many of you wanted to make a trip to FedEx Field to be present for this moment”
I'm sorry but this makes it worse.

I ran into Tony Wylie shortly after he announced his resignation. I've never seen him so calm, relaxed, and happy.

Jason Wright needs to go. He’s incompetent as hell. The name change and now this. He has very little to do and sucks at all of it.
A part of me feels that Dan hired Jason just to be a fall guy or human shield.

Jason Reid explained the Washington Football Team organization perfectly
"Redskins Park is like a reverse car wash: Go in clean and come out dirty."

I *hope* thats true and I further hope she actually sees the money. But why the need for a trust? Why the need to sell merchandise to get her to college? Hes supposedly a billionaire, he shoulda just said heres a million dollars or whatever amount. No need to make racist ass dolls in Seans likeness to get her an education.
We're talking about Dan Snyder. He isn't giving away money unless there is something in return for him (tax write off, lobbyists, etc)

It doesnt do that either.
Just remember, this is the same ****ty organization that tried to sell you this:

I get what your saying but I don't think this is fair without context.
After Sean died, Dan set up a trust for Sean's daughter. All proceeds from Sean's merch sales were deposited into an account so she can go to college and leave debt free.

I'm old enough to remember when Warren Sapp was arrested for domestic violence in 2010 then arrested again for soliciting sex from an undercover cop.
One of my friend's ex went to the U with Sapp in the early 90s. Warren was one of the biggest POS's on campus. He would constantly steal her belongings and lounge on her couch. Dude has always been an ass.

We used to have a thread of attractive women (though clothed, mostly) in the Tailgate. Before the Dark Times...
Well according to the NY Times piece, Bruce Allen was not only sending hardcore pornos through his work email but also topless pictures of Redskins cheerleaders. Pictures taken without the cheerleaders' consent
A beautiful women thread seams like a G rated Disney movie compared to Bruce Allen's internets usage
