I had the privilege of meeting Charlie Taylor at a golf event about 20 years ago. I was to young to remember his first years in the NFL but was a Skins fan and watching football by the end of his career and remember him very well. Even though he never won a Super Bowl, he was very fortunate to have at least experienced a Super Bowl and as importantly to be associated with the team when they were actually a respected franchise in the NFL and a feared Team on the field. RIP in Charlie. Hail #42.
At least Charley won 3 Superbowls as wide receivers coach with Redskins

The sad part that Taylor never won a Superbowl ring as a player but at least he won 3 Superbowl rings as wide receivers coach

Traded Krause for a ham sandwich! Although Marlin McKeever did get us Jack Pardee, Maxie Baughan, Myron Pottios, Diron Talbert, John Wilbur, Jeff Jordan and Boyd Dowler(indirectly) in 1971.
Yeah except none of them are Hall of Famers so that trade goes down as the worst trade in Redskins history

Best WR I ever saw.
I agree, best wide receiver in Redskins history in my book! Rest in peace Mr. Taylor

Happy birthday to Krause, the Redskins was stupid for trading him and I still say it is the worst trade in Redskins history

I hope not. Has any part of how he has handled any of this assured any of you that things are looking good.

Synder to remain owner, you all got your hopes up for nothing

I actually want Dan to stay. If we get a new owner they would definitely change the team colors.
Come on really? Who cares about team colors? If Dan is forced out, Redskins could finally get a good owner in a decade

A list of players we drafted some still here some not quite proven one who hasn't seen the field yet but I think we've done a decent job drafting.
I would not put any players that has not seen the field on the list until they prove it

Yessss. We’ve been drafting well for years. Our FA signings have been terrible. I feel like there are ten regular posters here who would have done a better job with pro personnel decision making. The positive signs keep on coming.
If Redskins have been drafting well for years then Redskins would have been a good team

That is awful! After Redskins drafted Haskins, I thought Redskins finally found a franchise quarterback but he did not translate well in the NFL which is a shame! Rest in peace Haskins, you will always be a Redskin!
