    After today Howell has no business starting. Was TH perfect? No. Did he make bad decisions? Yes. But those 2 touchdown balls were perfectly placed. For those that say he doesn’t have the arm to stretch the defense, I say look at those two passes alone. Given decent protection he can run this offense better than Wentz. Had the defense not made stupid plays on the last GB touchdown drive, the score wouldn’t have been as close as it was.

    I guess my whole issue with Howell starting over TH, is as someone else mentioned, our weak O-line, specifically LG. Norwell has been a veritable turnstile on pass protection and do you really want the rookie getting flattened like CW has been? At least Taylor can escape the pocket and still produce. Do we know if Howell can?


    We shellshock young QB’s and have done so for years…

    I just dont play for losses for a draft in April which is far from a sure thing. I want some enjoyment during the season with some positive Sundays beating rivals.

    I’m in agreement. My personal opinion before that new guy came along, was that TH should have gotten a full offseason as #1 and roll with it. Of course I also said we’d do something idiotic like signing that guy after the season ended, so there’s that too…

    So now it’s being reported that he whose name I shall not mention is now broken (Right ring finger) and is traveling out here to LA to get it checked out. Who should be starting? 
     

    please try and keep it classy. I don’t want this thread to turn into a a complete crap show, even though I know it will…🤷🏻‍♂️🤣
