TheyAreBack
End of the year summary: The team is totally dysfunctional, not much else to say. They need a total rebuild staring with the front office including the GM, the individuals involved in talent identification, coaching, and the majority of the players. Nothing should be sacred except keeping the owner not involved in the rebuild, after all 20 years of failure by the owner is more than enough proof that he doesn't have it. It is our job to keep the owner not involved, after all losing is not enjoyable and we have the proof he is not a winner - hire a President with the ability to keep the owner not involved is the first step. TN.Skins.Fan
Brandon Scherff OT, A.J. Cann OG, Cody Prewitt FS, Durrell Eskridge FS (could convert one of the FS to SS) , A.J. Johnson ILB ( dont think he will be there but he played at Tennessee and was a tackling machine), Gerald Christian TE. 7th round pick take another o-lineman or cb. Thought I would kick off the "who I would Draft" in 2015. Let me know who you all are looking at!
TheyAreBack
@TN - With the current talent evaluation team we know they will pick incorrectly, so I would make the priority to hire a President who is given the ability to isolate Snyder from the process. Assuming Snyder really wants to win as opposed to enjoying his toy. Let the new President hire a new GM who hires a competent staff and coaching group. On the draft, it is probably easier at this point to focus on needs, Safety and OL are definitely primary needs. Assuming they keep Williams that gives them RT, Guard, and Safety as their possible first pick. Those positions are usually drafted a little farther down the line in the draft (assume they are 5 or 6), Maybe they should trade down in the first round and get another 2nd round pick. There is also the cap money that will free up with many of the older players getting cut and the assumption that Orapko will not be back with his 11 million cap hit, or at least not at that amount. We have a chance to go after quality free agents, provided, they have a good talent evaluation staff and the new President and coaching staff can give hope to the potential free agents that next year will not be another disaster. What is your take?
Johns Bass
New GM - Trent Kichner (Seattle). He actually finds talented players at all levels in college, not just schools that are household names. He is available and the Seahawks have already said they would let him if he so desired. I am not too interested in how they will approach the draft until they find people that can approach it. Otherwise it's fail mode and they'll just f' it up again. The difference between this FO & a circus? In the circus the clowns aren't running the show...
