The only way this makes sense is if our gameplan is to run the ball all game; the Vikings have a very good pass D and a subpar rush D. Win or lose, I hate this call... The team knows we can win with McCoy, let RG rest thru next week's bye and ride the momentum. Worst case scenario would be is Colt starts and makes a couple bonehead plays and then bring in RG. Unless RG has showed extreme improvement in comprehension of this offense during practices, which he may have, I can't understand Gruden's call here.
