@DCGoldPants Posted February 6, 2003 Share Posted February 6, 2003 I heard the very end of a story last night on the news that said after Powells speech, there were phone lines and communication centers all over Iraq being destroyed. Sounds like they weren't expecting that. I do suppose the voices on that tape are dead by now also. I can't believe we're waiting for France, Russia and China to move in. The UN is a complete waste. redman Posted February 6, 2003 Share Posted February 6, 2003 I wouldn't be surprised if they were altering some of their communications protocols in light of Powell's speech, however I heard that we only used soundbites from communications channels that the Iraqi's were already aware were being monitored, so there was little or no intelligence loss due to Powell's speech. However, I haven't heard that story, and a quick search on globalsecurity.org's website, which tries to catalog related articles on this subject doesn't have an article on this.
