For all those doubting the power of Inmate and Miss Cleo, when I copied the introduction for the draft manual, my computer shut down. I then sent $9.45 to Inmate and here it is:

Miss Cleo Reveals the Redskin Draft Picks-(For those of you who don’t want to waste a day, watching the draft) http://www.extremeskins.com/forums/showthread.php?t=154091

Alright you carpetbaggers, listen up and pay attention!

First of all as many of you have learned over the past four years, don’t ever question the infinite wisdom I impart to Inmate to read and predict the future. Be forewarned or Zeus will smite you with the Egyptian botch where the sun don’t shine. [Deuteronomy 28:27 - King James Bible] Which will make Preparation H useless; causing riots in our streets; the stock market to crash; and there will again be gnashing of teeth among the masses as predicted in the New Testament! [Matthew 8:12].

Because Inmate is in solitary confinement now and was last seen there speaking in tongues "he asked me to pass this draft information on to you turkeys on the outside. After consulting with ME first, naturally, he said the oracle of Zeus had finally revealed to him who the Redskins will draft, although it appears that Rich Tandler over at CPND has a mole inside the joint and has stolen some of his insider information.

But what Inmate and his followers know and Rich Tandler and other carpetbaggers don’t, is that the Redskin draft is influenced and determined every year by two things, which only I, Miss Cleo can read and foresee. Ground Hog’s Day and the swallows returning to San Juan Capistrano! This is not rocket science folks and just like when you go to church and have “faith,” if you know what “signs” to look for, it becomes very clear who the Redskins will draft.

This year as usual the swallows flew up from their winter home in Argentina this spring, flying over Interstate 666 south of San Diego; but then became confused in the smog when they mistook a homing pigeon for the lead swallow; made a wrong turn; and then wound up lost somewhere over a mall in Pico Rivera. Because the swallows were late returning to the Mission, the padres freaked out, thinking that this could also be a sign of the anti-Christ -- you know the 666 connection? But this is another ball of wax, if you get my drift. Anyway, pay close attention -- especially Buddha and Jbooma who are in class this Saturday morning, still trying to pass Remedial Reading 101.

Because the friggin mall which the swallows mistakenly took for the Mission, has an address of 6483 Gemini Boulevard -- it just so happens to match Jon Alston’s date of birth of 6-4-83. So its very clear that being that he is also a Gemini sign, that the Redskins will draft..... ” 2 - Jon Alston - OLB - Stanford [the fastest LB in the draft, who proved he could cover Reggie

Bush out of the backfield. - The clone of Monte Coleman? ]

Then as everyone knows, Ground Hog Day is on February 2nd. And this year because the ground hogs came out of their hole a$s backwards and went DOWNhill instead of UPhill, this was another “sign” of things coming to pass and that the Redskins will be trading DOWN. And because the press first reported 11 ground hogs sighted all at once, off I-82 and 11 miles east of Dogpatch, Arkansas -- the ground hog capitol of the world -- only a fool would overlook this “sign” and deny the truth. So if you follow my drift and understand numerology, it just so happens that this information matches Cedric Griffin’s birthday of November 11, 1982. So its obvious the Redskins will trade DOWN [evidently trading a 2nd round pick in 2007 for a 3rd round pick this year] and of course draft:

3 - Cedric Griffin - fs-cb - Texas [outstanding FS with the speed to also play CB]

Now because I know there are some turkeys out there of little faith and are having trouble following this intricate line of reasoning, I will skip further details and just reveal who else the Redskins will draft.

5 - Josh Lay, cb - Pittsburgh (According to Kiper, underachiever with all the skills)

Bernard "Josh" Lay is a somewhat enigmatic performer who is adept at knocking away opponents' aerials, but who is not particularly effective in run support. This changed a little in his final season with the Panthers, but he is still not enough of an overall force to carry a first-day grade. Still, he is a disciplined performer who does have solid tackling technique and good enough measurables and ball skills to be in a camp. He is tall for a cornerback (though he measured in shorter than expected at the Combine) and has long arms. He did time better than expected at the Combine and played decently in his post-season all-star appearance, but his drop in height from the 6'2" listed at Syracuse and his 40-time improving from the expected 4.6 range are basically a wash. Expect him to be called mid day two of the 2006 NFL draft.

1.

6 - Will Montgomery, c-g - Va. Tech (Kiper, tested well, but seemed to be over achiever)

Will Montgomery is a very versatile interior offensive lineman with a workman like attitude. Montgomery walked on the Virginia Tech team as a defensive tackle but was eventually moved over to the offensive side of the ball. He is technically sound and has a bit of the nasty demeanor that former Hokie Jake Grove possessed. Montgomery is also a bit of a workout warrior that has posted some impressive workout numbers in offseason workouts. Montgomery's versatility will be a huge draw for NFL teams as it provides insurance against injuries. Lots of people have taken notice of Montgomery who right now looks to be a mid round draft pick in the 2006 NFL Draft.

2.

6 - Jason Posiask, te - Wisconsin (Super blue chip blocking tight end)

6 - Freddie Keiaho, mlb - San Diego State(Conference player of the year-would be a steal in the sixth round)

Freddy had huge shoes to fill at middle linebacker this year, replacing former all-conference and Oakland Raiders draft pick Kirk Morrison. He responded by easily leading his team in tackles. He has good sideline to sideline speed and is excellent at pursuing the defender. With only one year of starting, some question his polish. His 4.65 40 time is very good for a linebacker of his size. Once he gets into the league, he will need to put on a good 10-15 pounds, however, he has that football mentality, and therefore, he is worth a late round pick.

7 - Kevin Simon, olb - Tennessee

bitten on the injury front, suffering a number of injuries to knees and ankles. Simon is a trooper, though, and made it through just his second healthy season as a Vol. He had good production this year, averaging 8 tackles a game and really showed some more production in pass defense.

1. He has the ability to play either inside or outside (although he would not be a candidate to play OLB in a 3-4). Simon has innate football ability, including very solid read and react skills. He rarely is out of position and reads play-action and misdirection well. He's a very sure tackler and is scary coming off the edge as an extra pass-rusher. Simon also does a decent job in coverage, although his ball skills need significant improvement for the next level. He is often compared to Kevin Burnett (2005 second-round draft pick), although he doesn't have the leadership skills that Burnett possessed.

Simon has been somewhat quiet during the post-season at the Shrine Game and also at the combine and the Tennessee pro day. His legs show little burst or explosion (28" VJ, 8-7 LJ) and that has been evident on the field as well. Had he not been so oft-injured in college, he would have likely been a first day pick, but now he'll have to wait until the latter stages of the second day to hear his name called.

7 - Anthony Montgomery, dt - Minnesota

Anthony is a solid interior plugger for the Gophers who demands a double team. A pure nose tackle, Montgomery excelled as a 1 gap and 2 gap defensive player. He has been a consistent player, as he had 9 TFLs in 04. His atletic ability to sideswipe guards will impress NFL teams. On film, he looked pretty good, but needed to up his stats a little. Still, a lunchpail guy who will be good in the pros because there won't be alot of pressure on him to come in an preform early. A solid guy who should be drafted, but a good class of DTs may make him a FA. He also worked out as an offensive lineman, which could garner some interest for him as well.

Now these draft predictions are guaranteed, unless of course, there has been a sacrilege of some sort -- such as Inmate failing to paint my toenails when I visit him in the joint or him failing to send ME his check for $9.95 for his April horoscope. In which case my advise to you to avoid the wrath of Zeus, is to stock up on Preparation H and take the first bus out of town!

And if anyone has the courage to challenge Inmate in his draft predictions -- including those ignorant blasphemers, Buddha and Jbooma -- they may do so in this thread. But keep in mind Inmate’s football knowledge has been imparted to him by ME. And if anyone IS lucky enough to top Inmate’s predictions, they will receive as a reward a copy of a best-selling book chosen by me. You get a maximum of 8 picks. Scoring is 5 points for the name of every correct player drafted and 2 points extra if the player named is also in the correct round.

ATKINS’ RECIPES

http://www.atkins.com/recipes/recipe_category_all?category=soup_stew

Bumping up, I will add a list of potential quality players we might get in the late rounds after the third round. CB's are falling, look for a run on them in the late secon or third. OT is falling also as are a few quality TE's. WR should have a run on them in the the late second or third round also.

If these players keep dropping I could see another trade up.

possible day 2 picks

With 56 picks left to go-I have 30 players who could help us, and two real talents not in our need. If you see an error like a player picked here please let me know. I was talking to my Philippine Fiancee who is of course very ignorant and doesn’t understand the concept of grown men crashing into each other causing them to be crippled later.
