Skins11 Posted January 21, 2005 Share Posted January 21, 2005 Oh by the way, after the way the Redskins lost in the Superbowl against the Raiders, I think that Gibbs changed the way he dealt with players. No more being so lax. Perhaps the lack of discipline cost the heavily favored Redskins the superbowl. I've read in many places that he had a "philosophy change" of sorts, being more strict with players, implementing curfews (?), etc. So maybe in the later years, he wouldn't have put up with Riggins' antics.
