Dead Money Posted October 4, 2004 Share Posted October 4, 2004 That if I didn't have anything nice to say - "shut the hell up and go to the store and get me some cigarettes...." (Yeah I'm white trash, what can you do - right?) So I get this huge fishing hook pulled through my hand 120 miles offshore last weekend... We're usually 5-6 hours from home but this time because of the weather it takes us like 9 hours to get back to the dock. Well this wound decides to start to heal on the way home and seals in some nasty infectous stuff. I go to the hospital, they clean it up, I go home and sleep for a long time and wake up with a hand and arm the size of my thigh. I get admitted to the hospital, I have three different surgeries, I MISS DALLAS WEEK ENTIRELY. My tickets went to waste sitting on my desk at work, and my hand is killing me And the Redskins are 1 & 3... Somehow the teams sucking up it really doesn't matter very much right now. In the big picture I see losing as a small part of life that we sometimes allow to occupy more than it should. We've got alot of talent on both sides of the ball.We've got a brilliant coach that needs to work some rust out. We've got 12 more games to work that rust out.We've got a great defense when everyone else said it would suck.We've got tradition and pride and arguably the most loyal fans in the NFL.
