Golgo-13
I have a buddy waiting for a non-contested Ore Tenus hearing in Fairfax County. I was wondering if any of you guys had experience or knew anybody who had had experience with this and what kind of waiting period my friend would be looking at. I have heard it's generally really quick when it's non-contested and no children. Thanks for any info.
Nighthawk
Quick, painless and cheap. You have to be physically separated for 6 months before you can file for your divorce. My ex-wife and I officially separated in August of '95. 6 months later, February '96 we filed the papers and less than a month later we were divorced. Don't know at what stage of the process you friend is in but it doesn't take long at all.
Golgo-13
They have actually been separated for a full year. The papers are in and they are just waiting on the court. From the way you make it sound it should be quick for them. Thanks for the info, man.
