May be a graphic of text that says 'brandon @ @Jay @JayDanielsMVP In Commanders GM Adam Peter's S first year as GM: -Signed over 20 free agents during free agency -Added 9 players through the draft including a potential franchise -Added another 11 free agents after the draft (undrafted FAs) -Hired new pro scout from SF, Jack Quagliarello -Hired #Lions executive, Brandon Sosna -Hired #Ravens Director of College Scouting, David Blackburn Adam Peters is just getting started'

Man! Feels like living in a dream after a nightmare of last two decades. I feel so happy and sad at the same time. Being a fan for the last 20+ years, I don't even know how it feels like being a diehard fan of a perennial winner in NFL. Yes, I immigrated after Gibbs era SBs 😢 Here's to future success for this longing franchise, team, and fellow lifelong fans! 🙏

  2. With so many needs on the team for young talented players, do you guys think it makes sense to trade Howell and get a pick, if they have made their mind on Maye? I am thinking it would be too much to carry two NC QBs on the team. May there is a leverage issue and they may do it closer to draft. Not to offend folks in here, but if we do trade a couple of times from 2 spot, we can make a killing in the draft with all that Offensive talent, despite people's view of spread drafting players over time. We can build a team that is strong elsewhere and with future picks with 2 spot trade, we can pick another draft. I feel like Draft is such a game of luck along with scheme fit, where a lower round players become generational talent and even the top players have to go through their ups and downs on their way to top with the right coaching staff. I mean Luck was supposed to be a generation talent but he didn't win any SB (just for the sake of my point). Let's be real, do you all think Mahomes would a SB winner with us if we drafted him, and we did have a real chance to draft him. But with strong personnel, we can roll with just above average QB to continuous contention and we may get lucky with future draft picks at QB (ex., SF). I get the go big or go home philosophy at the same time. I mean we can trade the bank to move up in future if we find something in the similar talent group as Maye who (based on national media, discussion here, etc.) is not a generational talent as things stand now (again my apologies to folks who have followed him closely and think otherwise 🙏). Needless to say he can become one with right coaching and his play. But then you have a higher % of hitting with top QBs and you don't draft in top every year, so there is that. I think it's just an interesting discussion to have. I am sorry if I am posting in the wrong thread as I am still new, although a long time lurker 😁

  3. My gratitude to all the contributors on this thread, you know who you are. You make it so interesting and beneficial from top order to the bottom of the draft. My favorite part is finding diamonds in the rough where you guys point out lesser know players with All Pro capabilities, especially at the key positions like QB, OL, DL, and the like. Saying this, I am looking forward to another year of ES Mock, hopefully soon. Cheers! 🙏

They don’t have a QB. They are in a position to get one in a draft that has 3 blue chip prospects and next years draft looks much weaker at QB.

Just like us it’s really really unlikely they trade back.

I honestly don't buy this  Bro. First it is too early and then every year, there are can't miss QB prospects and no matter the situation, a QB-needy team trades up to take them. I am sure there will be another can't miss, top-10 QB when it's all said and done, but I am not an expert so there is that 😂

  5. So when are we getting an update on the coaching staff hires? This is feeling like a whole tree of coaches in its self, starting from HC to OC+DC and then sub-tree of coaches under them. Probably HC will act as a project manager who'll drive this whole team of coaches who run the football team and I am loving it. It is starting to feel like the start of something new+fresh, hopefully something special, like we were already not happy enough with the departure of Danny boy 😁. I wonder if we ever had this number of coaching staff in the past, may be in the Joe Gibbs era?

  6. My First post after watching and reading this site forever. This new ownership feels like breath of fresh air honestly after prolonged suffocation. I want to first thank you all who contribute to this site, especially draft enthusiasts like me who put so much work into it to provide us with relevant knowledge and info. I feel like we have huge roster challenges after years of bad picks after bad picks. We need some real playmakers and difference makers that can at least bring us to the middle group of the leagues on a consistent basis. This is just first year of this new ownership who is also first time NFL owner. They'll also have to learn inside out of the business itself besides running the Team. Let's face it, if we get to the middle group first before we even start having conversation for the playoffs, then that will be a great step. I would be very surprised and of course happy if they made to the playoff even in the frst two years. This is what years of bad management and ownership does to a team. I would not be surprise and even mad if we traded down and accumulated more picks as we need more above average players. Mental attitude must have taken a toll on existing players as they have not been to the playoffs for a while with this team not to mention years of poor mismanagement. Peters have done it at multiple places and I believe he can do it again here and on a consistent basis. In addition, he has found gems in the later rounds so there i definitely hope. I loved it when Josh Harris talked about the process and it is indeed a process to build and run a successful NFL Team. This is all I have to say now. I thank you all again for all you do here!
