And it would make no difference whatsoever because that cohort runs around 24/7 with their fingers in their ears screaming "LA LA LA LA LA LAAAAA!!!!"

Communication is a two way street, without that you're pouring water out onto sand

if we can state their opinion back to them so that we get a "yes" on the understanding part THEN we should have the chance to make OUR position and the reasons for it known. What goals are the COLLECTIVE "we" trying to achieve?

I'm willing to go further. Any state that allows teacher and staff to work unvaccinated in your schools loses federal funding. If you want these loons to teach, you're footing the bill. Anyone caught lying about their vaccination status while applying for a job at a school will be charged with fraud. We need to stop rewarding these mouth breathers for their unacceptable behavior.

This could get interesting... What point do you feel the opposition is missing? Are they unable to state your viewpoint or share it? Note; I am dipping my toes in here...

I like Pickett and I think he might be the most "pro ready" QB, but I do have some concerns about his arm strength and hand size as it relates to turnovers. He's had a fumbling problem for most of his career there. I'm also usually a bit wary of guys who are mediocre for several years then suddenly have one really good one. Certainly not a deal breaker and doesn't necessarily mean it's an aberration, but just something I keep in mind.

I think his arm is ok but nothing to write home about. He can probably make all of the throws but on deeper passes you can see he really has to put a lot into it. Reminds me a bit of Mac Jones in that way, though obviousbly Jones seems to be doing ok, especially in an offense like NE's that's a bit more focused on the short and intermediate game.

Something else random that I've also noticed about him is that while he seems to have pretty good footwork he tends to throw at times with an overly wide base. IIRC that can sometimes sap the body torque on throws and make the QB use their arm too much. Maybe that could be a possible issue with his arm strength? I'm far from a QB guru so who knows.

Anybody have any idea of Pickett's release time? Seems like he usually has a cleaner pocket than Howell or Willis

Yes, that too. Anything and everything. He most likely gets resigned or franchised though.

Get Beckham in and all of sudden the weapons look intriguing for a QB. I’m of the opinion the defense is trending up and will once again look like a strength by seasons end.

Any QB who puts ability above character probably can read neither the room nor opposing defenses. Comments appreciated. Been a long time...

You don’t have to explain it. That’s intangibles. He was a winner in SF and in KC. He just knows what is required of him to win. He’s not interested in stats and pro bowls, he’s all about wins and losses.

Again, this is coming from someone that HATES Alex’s game. I hate watching him play. I hate his stupid check downs and unwillingness to take risks and open it up. It’s annoying and frustrating. But I can’t argue with his track record. And right now we’re on a 4 game win streak coinciding with when he took over the offense. There could be a million reasons why were winning. Doesn’t matter. He’s a big part of it even without the big numbers.

Better  Qb for us- Stafford or Smith? Money is not the issue.

There is a lot of potential in this group.  I think spending big money on a top flight TE and O linemen would be more beneficial than signing a big contract WR.

Any specific players in mind? For me the prospects don't show a lot of luster. I hope we HAVE changed the culture and sign our own first. Is Big Sims contract up? The draft looks terrific for tight ends.. I'll take two. What are Clint Didier and Donnie Warren up to these days.?

  7. Been a fan for.....a few years now.It has been a tough time to be a Redskin fan. Hope that doesn't lead to a ban.Patience is a hard thing.Trying to remember that we are building more than a team we are re-building an organization.Let's not get caught up attempting to catch lightening in a bottle but be regularly competitive. IIRC even Joe Gibbs had a very rough start. Then he made adjustments to the talent he already had. Pray that YOUNG TURNER can do the same and that COACH let's him learn. Trust and growth take time.
