  1. If a certain jerkwad from SJU with the name that starts with a K who cares.  Dude's a punk.  Anyone else on SJU I'm cool with.

Kanacevic? Lol dude my be a punk but he can ball. Was hoping Wiz would take a look at it.

Chill w/ the SJU slander LOL.  Jakarr Sampson is my dude.

Anyways...Wizards might be signing Kris Humphries.  He's an upgrade over Booker.

Sampson is St Johns, we're discussing St Joe's. And yes Humphries is def an upgrade. Pretty good from midrange, but then again Booker showed a decent jumpshot this season. I think we should take a look at Ed Davis too.

  2. Lol. I've actually softened a bit over the last few years. Back during the days of The Decision, I made sure it be known that if LeBron came here, I wouldn't be seen in this thread anymore. That the Wizards would be dead to me until the day he left, I don't care how many rings he got here. Nowadays, while I'd never, ever buy a LeBron Jersey or support him in any way, I'd still follow the team. I'd just have to squint and pretend it's someone else whenever he got the ball (because it'll always be **** LeBron.)

I might crack and get a PS4 just for 2K

Game is free on PS3 right now

  3. What an emergence from Kawhi Leonard. A ring and a Finals MVP in his third year at age 22. He's probably not even close to as good as he's going to be one day.

Where does Leonard rank among the SFs of the league after this?

I put him as the best young SF in the game. Ahead of Paul George, just behind LeBron, Durant, and Melo.

Dude there is literally NO WAY Leonard is better than George. George is asked to carry his offense and has a much worse team around him.

  4. Webster contract looks terrible now.

You can't just automatically say Beal is exactly like Ray Allen in his prime(not a bad thing), and claim he won't be a factor in clutch time. He clearly had plenty of clutch shots in this year's playoffs already.

Furthermore, Melo will NEVER win anything. Because he wants the offense to flow through him, and he simply isn't good enough for that to happen and his team wins. Haven't this team, lead by Wall and Beal, already gone further in the playoffs than Melo has?

This offense works when Wall is dominating the rock and distributing, not Melo going iso 75% of the time and the rest of the team standing around watching.

Wall and Melo P/R would work IMO

  5. Tell that to Houston.

I'm against bringing Melo here because I don't think he's a good fit. His age, his cost, his personality, and his style of play turn me off.

#1 - I don't think he'd be willing to accept that this is Wall's team.

#2 - He stops the ball too much and our offense thrives only when the ball is moving and guys are playing unselfish.

#3 - He'd force us to let Gortat walk just to get in the ball park, so signing him would create big holes. We were successful as we were because of our inside-out roster balance.

If we're looking for a high dollar FA, it needs to be a true big man or Kevin Durant.

And Durant would be able to accept that this is Wall's team? That dude can't even tell Westbrook that he is the leader.
