Dang!
You know it is bad when the NFL RedZone says, bah.... we are just gonna focus on the games that have an impact on the playoffs.

I just cant watch the Noodle arm any more. The pruning of the playbook hampers us evaluating Turners offense so much.
Lock was pretty horrendous in Denver on the multiple chances hes been given. Hard pass
Why not, because everything up to now that has been tried has worked perfectly, amirite? :sarcasm:

I think WFT should look into a trade with Denver for Drew Lock. Can’t be worse than the current situation and Drew is young so there is still some time. He at least had a couple seasons in the books. Better than an untested rookie at this point.

We already out of playoffs so no need to wonder what might have been....lol
That comment was not just about making the playoffs, it covered the entire season.

Giants end their season on a pyrrhic win.
WFT wonders what might have been. -
Filly - yes

Seems like every year that injuries are a major problem, more so than most other teams. Over the last 5-10 years, I would bet WFT is in the top 5 in terms of games missed by expected starters prior to the start of the season.
Why? There's got to be an answer. Are practices too easy? Or too hard? Is the training staff incompetent? Are we always going for the best players without regard to injury history? Maybe we should go for a just pretty good players who are durable. Solve the injury / availability problem and the results will be much better in my opinion.
Way too many weak ankled quarterbacks. They keep breaking on us.........cough.
No QB comes to this team thinking 'I want to be like Joe Theismann' but they sure seem to end up that way.

Dan Snyder is a pox on the organization and its fan base.
Until that boil is lanced and removed, it will leach its stink all over this town.
Time to watch hockey when and if that ever starts back up again. ugh......

Hate to say this but can't see us winning another game, would love to win out but it's not going to happen. It's a top 7 draft pick for our Redskins.

I said this a couple of weeks ago with our first loss to Dallas. I was assured that wft would not lose to the giants. I did not believe it then and still do not believe it now. We will have a streak of 0-5 to finish the season.

Dallas 9
WFT 5

Mixed here. I am in Colorado, really don’t care about the Seattle L.A. game but not sure I want to watch the mess on the east coast either. I would have rather watched the Caps but the NHL screwed that up too. Waaaaa….

Not likely. For it to be downhill we would have to go 1-4 or 0-5.
At worst we should go 2-3. Losing to Dallas again and Philly once. We should beat Philly at least once and sweep the Giants. 8-9, 7-5 might still get us the 7th wild card if the other teams do just as bad.
I don't see this team coming close to 2-3 over the next games. They may beat the Giants, but Dallas and Philly twice, not likely.
-
I think it is sadly safe to say that our apex of the season was last week. From here, it is all downhill.
-
I did not see that coming. So, anyone wanting to serve me a healthy helping of crow. I prefer it plucked and stuffed.
I did not see the wft winning anything the rest of the year. Of all teams to beat, Tampa was not on the radar at all.

The team will end up drafting the best clipboard carrying QB that would not ever start for any other team in the NFL and the coaching staff will say it is a steal.
Or better yet, the team will trade away potential for yet another broken down quarterback on the back end of their career and call that trade a transcendental shift in front office thinking.
While everyone else will either be laughing or scratching their collective heads.
Either way, it will not pan out or they will break a leg and their season, and career will be over......literally.

Denver - 1 not good enough to score a touchdown so they only kick for the extra point.
WTF - 0 the entire team gets altitude sickness and makes them woozy the entire game

I think we’ll actually have a decent chance next week against Denver before the bye week, and against the panthers in a few weeks. Maybe another win against the giants? But other than that i dont see where another win comes from
Denver is coming off of their bye week to play WFT, so they will be rested. I live south of Denver and would like to see the WFT win. I just do not see anything that shows me they can do it.

We have approximately 3 more wins on the schedule. That's not a good thing, I'd prefer to lose out at this point. But we'll win one of Denver/Carolina, probably split with the Eagles, and most likely beat the Giants.
If you really want to get depressed, the Eagles also stink but they are sitting pretty draft wise. The Giants most likely call it quits on everyone in charge and Daniel Jones and start over again.
Then there's us, just kind of hanging out being mediocre but not sad enough to get a top draft pick and fill the gaping hole at QB. 🤮
I like your moxie. I just cannot get motivated to cheer it through. We need to help the eagles, panthers, and giants ego's while improving our draft position. Then draft another qb like Heath Shuler..... not really. Dear god not really.
-
I am not seeing a scenario where the WFT win another game this season.
....and they still won't get the #1 overall pick. Not that it matters much anyway.

So, if we go down and score a TD, does that make the game respectable or just another loss.
The game was respectable…..then they kicked off.

They may, but it would be tied in regulation and then lose in a shootout. ugh, Caps gotta work on that and soon.
