Boras and Max said they wouldn't waive the no trade clause unless an extension was being offered by the team trading. So trading Max wouldn't be a 2017 aroldis chapman situation.

Duuuh. We only have six months of data right now!  Yes, it'll likely be yearly, but jeezus, there is some uber fear-mongering going on. Every day, "New variants! Possibly more deadly!" It's worth noting that he's coming back from an injury.  He's been eased in going 2 innings each in his only two starts since July.  Have to wonder where his conditioning/endurance are at.  Get the pitch count up and go to work.

Kieboom ideally was going to play 2nd base next year.  Huge mistake to not resign Rendon but I'd imagine Kieboom takes over at 3rd without him.  Would then need the whole right side of the infield replaced
