Pretty sure it was staged. In the background there looks like another girl in pink is also recording it and the guy seems to smack the other in his hand that he is resting his chin on.

I also dont think that your arms would fly so comically up in the air like that after getting smacked.

However I did laugh at it for a solid five minutes.
