Very curious about the GM hire being completed first vs. President of Football Operations.

Why isn't there a thread about the D-line and Carriker?
-
I'm not saying I'm rooting for him to get hurt, but if Andray Blatche blows out his knee I certainly won't lose any sleep over it.
-
Edit: Nevermind.
-
Today I hate the Cowboys a little less.
RIP royallypwned and condolences to his family.

I'm sad.
I could NOT believe this when I heard it.
Just no hope for them to turn it around with Grunfeld, period.

I want absolutely NOTHING to do with Mike D'Antoni.
That man will never, ever win a championship. No commitment to defense.

http://www.laughitout.com/2008/11/one-sunny-day-in-2009.html
One sunny day in 2009, an old man approached the White House from across Pennsylvania Ave, where he’d been sitting on a park bench. He spoke to the US Marine standing guard and said, “I would like to go in and meet with President Bush.”
The Marine looked at the man and said, “Sir, Mr. Bush is no longer president and no longer resides here.”
The old man said, “Okay” and walked away.
The following day, the same man approached the White House and said to the same Marine, “I would like to go in and meet with President Bush.”
The Marine again told the man, “Sir, as I said yesterday, Mr. Bush is no longer president and no longer resides here.”
The man thanked him and, again just walked away
The third day, the same man approached the White House and spoke to the very same US Marine, saying “I would like to go in and meet with President Bush.”
The Marine, understandably agitated at this point, looked at the man and said, “Sir, this is the third day in a row you have been here asking to speak to Mr. Bush. I’ve told you already that Mr. Bush is no longer the president and no longer resides here. Don’t you understand?”
The old man looked at the Marine and said, “Oh, I understand. I just love hearing it.”
The Marine snapped to attention, saluted, and said, “See you tomorrow, Sir.”

It's one of my favorite macro imports, one of my favorite places to drink a Peroni is on the beach while eating an Anthonys Flag Ship(italian cold cut fron anthonys beer and wine in Ocean City), yummy!!!!
This is boggling my mind.
I hate Peroni. My dad is Italian and I'm fiercely proud of my heritage and love eating Italian food and drinking Italian wine but I want nothing to do with Italian beer. We're just not good at it.
Not to be snobby or judgmental or anything, I don't really care who likes what beer I just find it surprising that people actually like Peroni.

Just cracked a Fire Rock Pale Ale from kona brewing company. So nice.
Went to SD for a week a few summers ago and was at a bar that served Kona and I'm now a huge fan.
------------
I think I've changed my mind. Rogue Dead Guy Ale may be surpassing Guinness as my #1 beer.

Oh dear god.
Not Beast.
Anything but Beast.
I have found few beers that I like less than that swill.
-
I love this thread.
I don't love that its 118 pages long.
Gotta get through it and find some beers to try.

From 2006 mother****ers!
(sorry twa)
Isn't that from the prom thread?
I thought about TOOCing it too
-
I don't think I'd mind that. Isn't there an MLS team named the Revolution though?
One question I have is whether we should go completely local with the name--something that is uniquely DC culture--or should we emphasize our status as the capital of the United States? If it's the latter, again, I think we need to go military. DC SEALS. DC Power. Washington Guard. DC Spies. Washington Espionage. Washington SOCOMS. **** I don't know.
Yeah, I can see the Washington Monument and the Capitol from my apartment building. Why not name ourselves the Washington White Houses? Washington Lincoln Memorials? Washington Smithsonians?
Cherry Blossoms.
Boom.
Just blew your mind.

I like Washington BombSquad
Washington Snipers
Washington Soldiers
Washington Renegade
No.
No.
No.
Maybe.

He mentions that the red, white and blue primary logo is correct. A while back, they were trotting out a supposed "leaked" picture of NBA merchandise that had the current logo but in red, blue and white. The only mention this guy makes is to the change of the secondary logo.
I thought that picture was a fake?
Either way, I'd prefer Red/White/Blue and that logo to the current scheme.
-
So wait, we kept this retarded logo and just changed the colors or am I reading this wrong?
I don't know how you can read what he posted and think that they're going to be at all similar to that.
-
Oh man.
That's so awesome.
I would buy a new Wall jersey in a heartbeat.
-
People always laugh at me when I say that.
I really could care less about the team being called the Wizards. I just hate the colors. I will say this though, if the Wizards changes colors and/or names, the Mystics have to do the same. :2cents:
Considering that Leonsis owns them as well, it wouldn't be an issue.

This morning I posted in two different threads a couple mins apart. I came back like 10 mins later and post #2 was ahead of post #1 and it was at the top of the board like I had just posted it. It was weird
(Ftr, I'm driving around right now, hence the mins instead of minutes)
Goddamn abbreviations!
I love the passion. Glad the team still cares. I guess considering how few quality bigs are coming out we're not necessarily killing ourselves by winning.
-
I mean their top 4 players didn't play.
That was meant for before the game was over actually, ES is being weird.
-
Boston is ****ed.
-
Damn Crawford.
Kids going to be great.

If Dan Quinn were the head coaching candidate that people seem to be talking him up to be, Seattle would have hired him.
