  1. I liked the play of Robert Hansen(sp), he had good coverage and almost had an easy INT but dropped the ball. HE looked the best out of the back up backers.

I have to disagree. The only reason it appeared to be good coverage is that the ball was tipped and he was in the right spot. He missed a huge opportunity there. Also he didn't do a very good job of wrapping up on his tackles.

He's a rookie so obviously room to grow, but I certainly felt he could have played better.

  2. Def agree. Redskins Nation has the bad tendency to be very extreme (ahem...) when it comes to expressing emotions. Had the score been reversed, people would be calling for the Super Bowl, I'm 100 percent positive.

Oh well, years on this site makes you kinda expect it all anyways. I'm more excited about seeing the guys in uniform finally, and on the field finally. The cuts and the plays will happen, for better or for worse, especially in the preseason.

Someone also mentioned keeping Campbell in until he scores. I think that's actually a good idea. Let him get a TD, then let him have another series. Then take him out.

I agree that it goes both ways, but regardless you expect a much better result as a team. Getting shut out whether its preseason or the Super Bowl is never a good sign.

I think back to before the 2006 season when Al Saunders decided to basically taper his offense down so all of the complicated movements and formation shifts would not be included. I think the result of that philosophy showed in the inability of the offense that season.

Certainly you have to be concerned that this team was shut out, but even then it is preseason and there is still A LOT of football to be played.

  3. I thought Henderson was relying too much on his right, but I have to say Bisping lost the fight more than Henderson won. He kept stepping right into his strong side and they said that throughout the fight (you could even hear his coach telling him to stop shifting to Henderson's right). I'm not taking it away from Henderson he was very patient and kept with it even though he wasn't landing a lot of his shots, but Bisping should have known better.

  4. Regardless, tonight's fight should be interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing the approach that will be taken by both fighters. Mir's not going to want to stand up with Brock and he's going to have a hell of a time taking him down. Brock's going to have considerably honed his submission defense since their last meeting, so I see this as a very difficult fight for Mir to win. Well see though, I think I'm more interested in watching Mir's gameplan tonight.

Did you see the UFC 100 special they had on this afternoon with Lesnar and Mir watching their previous fight and giving commentary? Mir said something to the effect of if he fought Lesnar 100 times he would win 99 and could easily beat him standing up. Joe Rogan's reaction was hilarious though because he was like if he does that he'll get his *** kicked. I think you're right though about Mir. He is way too overconfident and takes himself way too seriously with these comments whereas Lesnar does a lot of it for entertainment value. I don't watch UFC very often but I think there is an interesting dynamic between the two and it should be an excellent fight.

  5. Just started getting into the UFC scene after watching some of the top knockouts stuff on Spike. Didn't realize Brock Lesnar was fighting in this, lol. I remember when he tried out for the Vikings. Anyone know where you can get a good stream of this for those of us who don't want to buy the PPV.
