This draft is my best, despite the score. A different solution to our defensive deficiencies and a fair amount of good value in the late rounds. Lots of speed for Kyle & Robert to deploy.

Round 3 Pick 1 (K.C.): Bacarri Rambo, FS, Georgia (
Round 3 Pick 8 (TENN): Blidi Wreh-Wilson, CB, Connecticut (A)
Round 3 Pick 23: Jonathan Cyprien, SS, Florida International (A)
Round 4 Pick 2 (K.C.): Brian Schwenke, C, California (A)
Round 4 Pick 22: Leon McFadden, CB, San Diego State (A)
Round 5 Pick 1 (K.C.): Gavin Escobar, TE, San Diego State (A)
Round 5 Pick 21: Brennan Williams, OT, North Carolina (A)
Round 5 Pick 29: EJ Manuel, QB, Florida State (A)
Round 6 Pick 23: Kerwynn Williams, RB, Utah State (B+)
Round 7 Pick 22
It froze me out before I could get pick 7, which annoys me because I was having one hell of a draft. I tried to limit my trading to such a point that I didn't have more than 3 picks in a round and no more than 12 picks total.
That draft would never happen, but I would be estatic for it. Two top flight CB's, future starting FS and SS, a system ready backup QB, and a quality offensive weapon BIG TE....on top of backups at C, OT, and RB? I could only dream of such a draft.
^^this draft. Holy moly

I was mostly interested to see what our colors would look like with actual gold being used!
That gold helmet resembles Notre Dame's newest golden dome helmet. If we brought that look to the NFL, I wouldn't be mad. Those are dope

JurgyFan, they look awesome! Best idea I ever seen on the internet. Especially with the feather on the helmet/socks. Normally not a fan of gold helmets, but those are pulled off nicely. Seriously, send those pictures to the Nike or Snyder.
These are loud. Louder than even the Seahawks redesign. Not a bad premise, but the piping and the feather elements really don't work for me, especially in tandem with our current logo on the side of the helmet. Really do like the color scheme ideas, however.

On a long-term basis though, I think we should find a way to keep the Burgundy pants
I'm thinking:
- White jersey, burgundy pants
- Burgundy jersey, gold pants
- Throwbacks
This!!

That sucks. Why not just eliminate the white pants? then you can go Burg jerseys/gold pants' date=' White Jersey/burg pants, White jersey/gold pants.[/quote']
That's what I would've asked for. Maybe a neutral pant is required.

Reportedly, the gold pants are back for 2012, at the cost of the burgundy pants option. Thoughts? I think we'll see a fair amount of White over Gold combos on the road, but our official away set is listed as White over White. Not my favorite look, but RGIII might make that opinion change. The all white Baylor set looked pretty swift.

This has been circulating as a rumor on a bunch of sites:
http://jockpost.com/nfl-nike-uniforms-2012-real-fake/
I would vomit if this were our jersey:
Seriously, that is disgusting. The Chiefs one is red and yellow with a 21. Kind of, well, vomit-inducing as well.
All of these Nike Pro Combat protoypes are essentially fan art. No truth to the rumor that these are being discussed as actual uniform changes. Ditto for the rest of the league

PS... Maybe i'd be a little more down with the "spear" unis if they didn't unearth memories of Danny Awful and the 'ol Ball Coach that I've tried very hard to repress.
That's one reason to wear them at least once next year.
MR. SNYDER, THINK ABOUT IT!

The sickest look would be a throwback to the 70's era unis. Gold pants all the time. Our two most recent throwbacks illustrate the color scheme I'm getting at. The 70th anny. "spear" unis were nice, but their lack of the current logo was a little disheartening, plus the spear helmets minus the vertical tri-stripe were a bit plain. This past year's were sooooo sick, but perhaps a bit too much yellow. Use those 2 basic schemes, use the current helmet, but with a gray facemask. The Colts did that a few years back (went from blue facemasks to gray), and I think it really sets off a classic uni design like ours. Old school is the ONLY way to go.

If I'm not mistaken, the throwback helmets were made with a sort of leatherhead-esque applique that envelops the crown of the helmet. It may have been done by a third-party company, but If the equipment staff is going to do any sort of helmet modifications, I guess it's possible they could still get the throwback look ready with the players' regular helmets on Sunday night into Monday. Makes the logistics kind of daunting, sure, but I wouldn't rule it out.
