  1. Yeah, but on a certain day at a certain time? That's kind of ridiculous. I can't schedule my day around this; I was done with all of that when I had to be up at 5:50 AM constantly hitting refresh on ten different windows when I registered for my last courses in grad school.

Haha. Then don't worry about it, especially if you sit near me. :ols:

  2. Only one way into B3...but after the game they open the back gate at rear of B3 lot.....that is easiest way out...similiar to the back area of the grey lot but not so far from the stadium.

So you have to take Morgan in and after they let you out on to Sheriff?

  3. I love the B3 lot....Its never too crowded and it never takes long to get out...I think its ideal for anyone in section 118 to 104 and the 200 level. Im in section 111 and I got a 3 min. walk to the stadium and after the game im in my car driving before most ppl even get to theirs. I dont know how you would be if your in the 300 level or the upper deck because walking down the ramps takes time and by then most ppl are out already so traffic might be bad.

What road did you take in and out?

  4. I had Gray for 3 years. A friend of mine also received the same email and had Gray 3 years as well. So from 495 South i take Exit 13..then what?

Not sure on directions to be honest. Ive had gray for three years as well and haven't seen anything about upgrading so hopefully its on the way. ???

  5. i just received an email saying i have been automatically upgraded to thr Green B3 lot. i didnt request an upgrade from grey either. where is this exactly?

If you walk up from the gray lot, go right around the stadium about 1/4 the way and its there.

How long have you had parking?

  6. At one point there was talk of doing a season ticket holder stadium map. Did that ever happen? (Section 428 Row 11 and hoping to move down a few rows )

I know someone did a map of where all skins fans on here are from but that sounds like an awesome idea.

  7. It was an AWESOME point...errr...except that nobody actually did it.

Youve never been around a season ticket thread then. ;) No one has done it recently but its bound to happen, just like cameron was saying.

  8. There are just so many price conscience 'Skins fans around that hate to see so many of their fellow fans hornswaggled by the TO, you see. If everybody would only buy their tickets on the secondary market prices would have to come down. :silly:

In all seriousness, if this team starts winning, and with the reduction in seat numbers, I imagine the secondary market will get much tighter and there won't be as many people advocating for giving up season tickets in favor of finding single games on Stub Hub. It bothers me that there are prominent members on this board advocating that.

The secondary market is the reason why I have to wade through so many idiot fans (of both teams) on Sundays. The occassional attendee has nothing invested in the team other than a few eight dollar beers and the price of the ticket. They won't be coming back next week so it's easy to act like a fool, get drunk, and behave badly. They know that they won't lose their season tickets for acting up and that hurts the game day experience for everyone. /rant

Now I get it. I agree and I didn't lose a dime last year including preseason on the tickets I sold but that can't be true. What row in 106?

  9. Congrats and welcome to owning your own, Hoover-ball.

Now for the requisite comments from season ticket naysayers...

    5... 4... 3... 2... 1...

Thats a good post, especially to someone who is excited about getting seats. I'll never understand why it matters to you what others spend their money on.

  10. Just got another e-mail from the TO after asking them the chance of buying Grey this year and being upgraded to Green B3 before the year starts. They responded:

"Great news!!. Based on availability, the Ticket Office can add a Green B3 parking pass to your account for the 2012 season. You will then be eligible (based on availability) to upgrade to our Green lot for the 2013 season."

Just FYI. This is my 2nd season having tickets, no parking pass last season.

Wow, congrats to you. This will be my 4th year in the gray lot and was told that I most likely wouldn't get a b3 upgrade. Guess things haven't changed as much as we thought up there.

Edit - Spoke with Chris at the ticket office, very nice guy, who said they were working on the parking and based on availability I should be able to get in to the B3 lot. He took the time to look at my account, figure things out and said that hopefully I would find out within the next couple weeks but maybe not. Guess it is still a game of who you talk to, didn't ask about seat upgrades though as Inwas already fortunate with my previous upgrades.

He didnt have an answer to why some people already got the offer and got it "out of turn," but I didn't expect him to as those things are bound to happen when dealing with 90k seats and who know how many parking passes.

  11. I'm locked out too and LL but that doesn't mean they've started the upgrades yet. There can be a number of reasons for the lockout like system problems or system upgrades.

Me too, I HIGHLY doubt they have started the process this early. Imagine how many season ticket holders they would lose if they gave away their seats 9 days after the due date.

  12. I believe it shows your seats until they start the upgrade process on your seats. So either they always show your current seats and you dont get an upgrade or your seats, not the invoice, go away until your new seats pop up.

I think thats how I remember it from last year?

  13. Where are your seats? I am in 428 (UL ~45 yd line row 11) and when I sell most are no problem, can make a profit on division games, but games against teams like the Cardinals won't sell. I use the cash lot, I think it is an easier walk than the grey and there is tons of room for throwing around a ball, etc. And the advantage of not eating parking you don't use, or having to try to sell it, is nice.

Seats are row 6, LL, just sideline side of the tunnel.

  14. Are you having a difficult time selling those games in recent years? I would probably do something similar to this and go to the more desireable games in my shared seats in section 135. Thanks to you both for all of your input, I want to make my decision on Monday and hopefully rows 1-15 are still open, as advertized, because they don't sound too bad at all.

I will say this, the last two years I started selling my tickets online and have not lost a dime if you put the time in to it. Others will argue you can find these seats for dirt, but I have good seats and never a problem selling them for face value,

What are everyones thoughts on the "new" cash lot? Been in the gray lot for 4 years now and considering moving to the cash lot rather than wait for green.

  15. Edit I left out he said anyone with lower level seats should expect that your upgrades would have already been posted. There are no expected 2nd waves of lower level seats, some upper deck seats are still getting updated in the machine but no one else that's already in LL would be moving past this initial round

Guess that means Im not getting a parking or seat upgrade at all. Ouch

  16. You are correct. The 2011 invoice will show your new seat assignments if your online account has been updated.

Exactly. They said today that some will dissapear and some wont but the upgrade wont show up for another week or so. I was also told that they are mailing out the upgrades today so we should be getting our new seats very soon.
