Four Horseman alot of times held all the belts. Ric Flair would be the NWA Champion and Tully the Tv champion and Gene and Ole Anderson would be the Tag team Champions. The " Minesota Wrecking crew. Arn joined the Horsemen when eith Tully left or when Gene got hurt.
Gene actually was never an original Horseman. The first incarnation of the Four Horseman was comprised of Flair, Tully, Arn, and Ole Anderson.
Ole, Arn, Lars and Gene were the "Minnesota Wrecking Crew" and were "brothers" in kayfabe.
When Ole left the Horseman he was replaced by a young Lex Luger.

WWE released Kurt Angle due to Angle's personal issues.
And the reborn ECW slides ever closer to the abyss.....
-
Have to admit I'm disappointed to hear about the Big Show/Sabu ending....personally was very much hoping that they would put the strap on Sabu and perhaps that would revive the doldrums ECW has started off with. I assume this feud will continue, maybe involving Angle and RVD? If not Sabu is being very much misused.
-
Punk against Credible AGAIN?!? Wow, how short is the current roster if we have to have a repeat already?
-
Well, I'm currently catching the replay of TNA's Hardcore Justice and they had to evacuate the building because of some piro that ignited some of the pipes on the ceiling. No joke.
Now that truly is extreme, even the building takes a hard bump that way. Perhaps we've just discovered how to resurrect ECW after all, don't set Sabu etc on fire, just set the whole building on fire instead.

Main event for ECW this week.
RVD vs Sabu vs Kurt Angle in a ladder match. Winner is the #1 contender for the ECW title.
Maybe this is the week that ECW starts acting like ECW........
I certainly hope you're right, but I'm not holding my breath yet. We can certainly hope though....

What did RVD do tonight?
Run in during the Sabu/Angle match. Chair shots to both guys. DQ ending, and apparently no one named as the number one contender for the title. Guessing this maybe leads to a four way match at SS between RVD, Sabu, Angle, and Show perhaps?? (Just speculation)
-
Well apparently "the smoke" has cleared....RVD
-
You mean 'No ECW tonight? You've got to be kidding.'
Exactly but I thought perhaps me pointing that out seemingly every week was getting old. I'm going to simply refuse to call this ECW from now on...I actually laughed out loud tonight when they played the opening with Heyman shouting, "The tribe of extreme has been reborn." Apparently it also died a quick death Paulie, because this ain't extreme. This isn't even old WWF hardcore title extreme.
-
No extreme rules matches at all tonight? You've got to be kidding.
-
Did something seem odd with that promo just now with Show? Almost seemed like he forgot where he was going, or something didn't happen that was supposed to. If they brought him out there to simply say "No one can beat me" that was a waste of five minutes.
-
Sandman DQ'd to end his match against Test and Knox. Then Kevin Thorn over Al Snow. So far, nothing "extreme" tonight.
-
Sigh, once again the show starts off with non extreme rules matches. No one wants to see Sandman wrestle, without the cane this is nothing.
-
How is the match for the ECW title not an extreme rules match?
Its an issue that if Vince doesn't fix is going to kill this reboot of ECW. No one wants to see what amounts to a Smackdown match for the ECW title.
As I said earlier, you can't market "extreme" wrestling without the matches being extreme. Unless Vince actually means extremely boring Smackdown matches.
-
Wow, another DQ on ECW, and this for the main event this week. Can't we just please hurry up and put the belt on Sabu?
-
Agreed, it is an improvement, but still until everything is extreme rules ECW is still not reborn. Granted, I know that's not likely to happen, but you can't market "extreme" wrestling without extreme in most of the matches.
-
Kelly is an "expeditionist"? Wow, Tazz that's interesting.

I thought Lita was hotter pre-boob job. Don't know what she was thinking trying to become a 'diva'.
I agree, I think she was definitely more attractive a few years ago, plus was a fair in ring talent too, granted that was preinjury. Not too many females in the WWE could execute that Essa Rios moonsault like she once could.
-
I guess I missed something along the way. Wasn't the whole point of having the "fake" Kane a few weeks back to get Kane to put the mask back on? Now it seems that whole storyline has been completely dropped. Was there something I missed, or anyone have any insight on that?
Also, really as much as I'm trying to like the reborn ECW, if every match isn't extreme rules then why even bother....without the "extreme" this is just another bad episode of Smackdown. Seriously, what is ECW if now using a chair gets you DQ'd? This is a shell of its former self.
-
Hey Vince. Fire The Miz's sorry, lame ass, will you.
Absoultely! Does he even read over what he is supposed to say before going live? Honestly the first week of the diva competition it seemed like he got the script as he walked out of the curtain.

Line of the night goes to the King: 'There's corn in there!' :rotflmao:
That was definitely a highlight...along with "Son, are you mildly retarded?" Funny, I've been thinking that about Shane for years now.
Another great one from that skit, "Son when I die I'm leaving all my money to my beautiful daughter Stephanie and whoever that guy is that knocked her up."

I think the Sandman gimmick is that he is going to come down and clobber the hell out of these stupid gimmicky guys, until one day he ends up running into one that actually fights back...which COULD BE how they debut CM PUNK or someone else on the roster.
I thought the rumor floating around was that eventually he would run into Gangrel this way? (Granted I unfortunately missed the most recent ECW, so maybe something happened I don't know about.) But I thought the most widely held rumor was that Sci Fi sorta wanted this "horror" tie in angle, and thus the Zombie and eventually leading into Gangrel showing up.

The problem with bringing DX back is that HBK and HHH are both now in their 40's, and it just seems lame that two older guys are trying to be the voice of youth. When DX first came out, they were the young guys, standing up to the geysers and doing things their own way, now they are the older guys, so trying to recapture the same magic isn't going to work. Also, can you really be that excited about DX when they are just going to be wrestling people as uninteresting as the Spirit Squad?
Not trying to be a jerk, but just for the record, Triple H isn't 40 yet. He will turn 37 the end of July. Michaels is about 4 years older than Hunter. Secondly remember that DX stands for De-generation X, gen Xers right now are mostly in their mid 30s now so its a pretty appropriate moniker for them.

Hmm, wow think the Outlaws have some pent up feelings regarding the Kliq and DX?
