  1. The price better come down.  I will only renew if I get preseason for free.  So it looks like two tickets in 206 will be ready for one of you to upgrade.  They are great seats if you get them.  I will also be willing to buy a few games back at 1/4 face once the season starts.

  2. Redskinfan44 has a good point. Not everyone is as savvy buying tix. Some like to buy from those they know. If everyone was like chip I would have to get rid of my tickets. With a wife and two kids I can not get to all 8 games a year.

  3. Make perfect sense.  He can resell the regular season tix for a higher face value and Danny gets his same money.   But then, Danny won't get to claim that Skins tix are among the cheapest in the league.

I think you are right on with this.  The current setup allows the NFL to give an artificially low cost of going to games.  And judging by the post season tix sales this would not help their cause.

  4. Over my head?  Please.  Please read HOF44's response.

As an aftermarket ticket purchaser I don't care what your face value is.  Your aftermarket ticket value isn't going to increase because the face value of the ticket increases.

People don't want to pay the current face value, while would they want a price increase.

I sell to friends all the time at face.  only prob is I lose money when I do.  Tax and preseason cost I eat.  I guess it depends what side of the fence you are on.  If I was buying aftermarket tix I would also think it is a bad idea, however as a season tix holder I wish it would happen.

  5. So you want him to increase the face value on regular season games, tickets that are already priced too high.

Your proposal is a head scratcher to me.  Changing the face value wont change what you can sell a ticket for during the season.  You would have sold your tickets this year at the same price whether you paid $280 per game or $350 per game.  Makes no sense.

b/c of preseason I have to sell reg at a profit to break even.

Maybe it is just over your head.  I can not make it any more simple.

  6. How does Dan get the same money?

Take my $2800/10 games(8 reg 2 pre)= $280 per game. Now take $2800/8 games(just reg)= $350. either way Dan gets his $2800. Now I can sell a game at "face" $350 and not eat the preseason cost.

  7. I wish the skins would divide the total cost of the season by 8 and give the preseason at no cost.  Dan still gets the same $$$ and I can sell my tickets at face and not lose money on preseason.

  9. My new section is right next to you in 207.

Great seats. I was there two years ago. You should see if you can down grade to row 8. That's were I am and it rocks. I love not having anyone sitting behind me. I can stand when ever I want to. I really feel like I am in a win win. The only way I would lose the seats is if I get sidlines(yes I consider 205 sidelines)

  10. last year I was upgraded after the UL was completed. I guess I will keep checking. Thanks for the update. However I do have some of the best seats in the studium. Only one who sits behind me is Baldinger. And I stay dry in the rain.

  11. My account shows the same with a list of games to print but can't get anything to pull up. My same seats are showing as last year, but I know I will have to be moved as my seats were removed.. so I wouldn't worry. dont think they've done any upper upgrades.

    same here

  12. Well, it didn't exactly read like that but that was the gist of it. Here is what it said:

Subject: Your 2012 Washington Redskins Seat Assignment!

We are pleased to inform you that your General Admission season tickets for the 2012 season have been assigned. Please login to www.Redskins.com/MyAccount to view your seat location.

Your season ticket package will be shipped via FedEx the first week of August. If you need to make any changes to your shipping address, please go to www.Redskins.com/MyAccount prior to June 22. If you have any questions, please contact the Redskins Ticket Office at 301-276-6050 or by email at tickets@redskins.com.

We look forward to seeing you at FedExField this fall! Thank you, and

    Hail to the Redskins!!!

So I guess if I have not received an e-mail like that I can still get upgraded. Thanks for the info. I will hold out hope.

  13. I also received the email stating my seat assignment for this year, so that must mean the lower level upgrades are complete. I'm in 106 and got no upgrade, which is what I thought. I know people on the visitors side (corners) who got upgrades, so I do believe the visitors side makes a difference.

Just to clarify… you received an e-mail saying you are not getting upgraded?
