Agreed. Black is played out. It's nothing short of boring now. It stopped looking cool a long time ago.

It doesn't have to be all black. Take a look at this picture. I wouldn't mind a concept like this one. We can easily do something like this and just replace what you see in black and make it a dark burgandy instead. I love how huge the Redskins logo is on the helmet, it just screams at you. I also love the huge feather down the leg and right arm band. I'm so tired of the typical vertical stripe that every jersey currently has. [ATTACH]46538[/ATTACH]

I completely agree. I don't have any huge ideas for how we should update them, but I like the idea of leaving the old Gibbs uniforms behind.

Some random thoughts...these uniforms are NOT classic as some people argue. They are only about 30 years old. The Packers and Bears have classic uniforms that haven't changed...we do not.

Also, I think no matter what we do, the new coach should have us wear burgundy at home. I loved Joe's tradition of whites at home, but it is HIS tradition, not a Redskin one.

The uniforms we have a good but they aren't classic. If we kept them I'd be happy but if we update them to something good I'll be happy too.

As long as they don't turn out like the Falcons. Look at San Diego...they're proof a uniform can be updated but not ruined or made to look too trendy.

I am also pro 'R' script on the helmets for the record but I'm not holding my breath for it.

I modified my throwback that I did a while age and tried to add the R helmet.

So this should be close to what we'll see.

Man I won't lie. That looks seriously sharp. I hope we wear those while beating up the Cowboys this year. Nothing better than looking seriously sharp while whoopin' some Dallas ass.
