I love it when the cowboys lose!! lol

It's weird seeing your previous posts from 5 years ago in the same thread... LOL
If we win we'll be in prime position for a wildcard or even the division title.
With that said...
PALOFFS IS NOW BABY!!

But my preference is burgundy jerseys over white pants. it's a clean yet rugged look that no other team has in the league. We looked sweet against Tampa when we wore them.
Now I can't stand the mustard, Ronald Mc Donald ,Hulk Hogan yellow pants. Every time I look at 70's films I cringe because it looks so sloppy. I know Bruce Allen was bringing back the tradition of his late father but those pants need to stay in history. If anyone likes that combination something is wrong with their eye site. It's like saying you enjoy looking at ketchup and mustard on your hotdog.
I'm glad the redskins decided to look as sweet as they played today! White pants= win!!

I hated...let me reiterate - HATED - all the years the Redskins wore white at home. It always seemed to me that almost everyone else wore their colors at home, why shouldn't the Redskins? Furthermore, why should another team get to come into RFK/FedEx and get to wear their home colors in the Redskins' stadium. (Granted they wore white at home well before visiting fans were a problem, however it's a wonder that so many of them started showing up; their team gets to dress like the home team when they come to play here!) I was thrilled when they started wearing burgundy at home, and contrary to what some people think I happen to have always loved the burgundy jerseys and white pants. The gold pants are okay, but I'd prefer the burgundy over white. I have no issue with white over burgundy pants, but for ROAD GAMES.
Someone mentioned the throwbacks; I liked them, and I have no issue with the Redskins pulling them out once or twice a season. They did it against Carolina, and I suspect that we'll see them again against the Giants. You're allowed two alternate jersey games, and seeing that the Giants were the original rival when the team moved here I bet they bring them out again then. It's also before a national TV audience. That aside, if I never see white at home again I'll be happy.
I agree with you to an extent.. I grew up watching Gibbs and the white jerseys over burgundy pants. For me it just brings back the glory years so i wouldnt mind them wearing it at home or away. But my preference is burgundy jerseys over white pants. it's a clean yet rugged look that no other team has in the league. We looked sweet against Tampa when we wore them.

Man Eli doesn't have nearly the pocket presence as his older brother. I've never seen Peyton take some of the hits that Eli has taken..lol

Random Thought!
Why is everyone's so bent out of shape about losing draft picks for McNabb??? The Saints built their Super Bowl team through free agency, The Vikings built their NFC Championship team through free agency, the Jets built their AFC Championship runner up team through free agency.... So why can't we?
- The Patriots and Eagles (two teams known for drafting young talent and dropping veterans were exited in the first round)

Hogan was making Ninja Turles sequels and movies with Lonnie Anderson.
The Rock is the star of live-action Disney films.
The Rock will pop into the WWE every two years or so when they give him a big appearance fee and he needs the publicity for a movie. He will do a 10 minute promo and give someone the people's elbow. And then he will be gone for another two years.
Though Vince may be pissed at him. He blackmailed them into putting his dad into the Hall of Fame (which was utterly undeserving) and then cut a promo on the entire roster. That had to be fun.
I'm not saying Hogan was a bigger actor than The Rock. But Hogan had some headliners including The Nanny, suberban commando and No Holds Barred. All movies that would equate to the same tier as the Rock's movies in our era today. Did any of you really go to the movies to see the Scorpion King?? lol
But Hogan has actually become a bigger star of late with his TV show breaking records and his appeal to the younger audience. So for him to go to TNA is really unexpected. I dont think the Rock will go right now but if TNA gets traction and offers the right money Mr. Johnson will go when his acting career dies down.. And trust me it will.
-
No chance in hell they can get the Rock That guy is a full time actor now and he wants to do side projects with the WWF.
Who predicted Hogan going to WCW or him going back to the WWE in 2002? It was a far fetched thought but he went. The Rock is not an A list movie star. And all actors take gigs that take them different places for the $$. If TNA makes him an offer he cant refuse he'll definitely go.

Did Jeff Hardy or RVD show up on TNA?
RVD wasn't there but Jeff Hardy did show. I think RVD might be a mystery character they reveal later.
-
Ah well. Aside from that, from what I expected with Hart's return (with the exception of the insane opener), it's been a pretty disappointing Raw. I can't believe I'm going to actually say this but I'm glad I also recorded TNA now.
Your going to see WWE stars popping up on TNA just like WCW did 15 years ago. Its about to get crazy. If they get The Rock or Cena.. its over!

Raw ended so typical... EVERYONE knew Vince would double cross Bret. If they really wanted to make it a story line they should've kept the truce between Bret, Shawn and Vince for a while then Bret and Vince double cross Shawn..
BUT
TNA ended so awesome tonight!! I cant believe they have all the wrestling legends in one organization. Hogan, Nash, Hall, Flair, Sting, Foley.. But the suspense that they created with the way it ended not knowing who Hogan would side with or what Hogan would do when Foley got attacked was a great way to get viewers watching again. I haven't watched Wrestling in 8 years and TNA has me interested in watching next week.

Anyone who didn't like the all burgundy uniforms simply because we lost to the superbowl champs is just plain STUPID OK! We tanked the last 8 games of the season wearing the traditional white and burgundy, and wernt any better with white on white. It was one game and the uni's looked gr8 on TV. We lost but we definately need to make those a regular part of the rotation....
Oh yea and Preseason means squat!
-
I Love It!!!
Uniforms look bold and energetic! Kinda like when the Jags where their all black!
-
those uniforms were jinxed, so i never want to see them again
Yea... leave them where we left that giants game..
-
Here is a question or 2 for you guys. Say we do win our last 2 games...
1) Are the Eagles going to be doing us many favours on Sunday?
2) What do you think is most likely to happen NO lose 1 or NYG lose out?
The giants don't look that good to me. I think the Saints have enough about them to get both results. However I think it will be a big test for NYG to win at the Bills. No J.S and E.M looking suspect! I really do believe if we win both games it will be a 50/50 toss up to whether we are in or out.
I have more faith in the Eagles going to NO and taking care of business than I do the Bills knocking off the giants. N.O has no running game and no defense. Westbrook and McNabb will carve them up and their corners will shut down Colston and Patten.
-
Record with common opponents. Us beating Minn would probably put us over.
So basically I'm a Bills and Eagles fan this weekend...
After everything this year its still nice to be in the playoff hunt this late in the season!
-
We have to win out and NO has to lose just one game OR we have to win out and the Giants have to lose out.
If we win out,the saints win out and the giants lose out, which tie breaker would be in effect to put us over the gnats?
We would have the same overall record, divsion record, and conference record.
-
It was truly a sight to behold. We actually looked like the Washington Redskins on Sunday!
-
I really miss the WCW days vs. Raw..
Wrestling just hasn't been the same since the original NWO
