The chance that players are taking mental breaks from tonight's plan, to check the internet for any updates....certainly seems possible. And hence, the line movement since the story broke.

The Skins/Danny are dragged through the mud constantly. I seriously doubt this has even raised an eyebrow among the players and coaches this week. In fact I would be willing to bet that if someone brought it up to Zorn tomorrow morning it would be the first time he's heard about it. The line very well may be moving because of it but it's a stupid reason to bet one way or another in the preseason. My guess is that it has more to do with the fact that our 3rd and 4th string QBs are going to play all but one series.

I'm 37 and I think this will look absolutely hideous. I'm seriously extremely disappointed that is happening finally.

I was thinking the same thing. I went to see my high school (Friendly) play a few years ago and they had red pants and jerseys with a sky blue helmet and I thought it looked horrible. My guess is it will fall almost directly along age lines. I'm an old fuddy-duddy so my opinion should be expected.

I agree. It's cool to see them again just for a change of pace but I didn't the like the unis when they had them the first time around. I would much rather see them go back to the spear if they are going to permanently change them.

I think the R helmet was by far the worst helmet we've had and I was happy as hell when we got rid of it. The spear (both the original and the throwback version) is my favorite. I don't feel any FSU issues since they stole it from us. The Skins had the spear a full 10 years before they did.

I was told absolutley that the uniform was being designed by Reebok and were to resemble the 72-73 superbowl uniforms with the yellow helmet with the script R. I was also told that they would be worn at the home opener agianst the fins!!

Not to be anal but those uniforms were used in 1970-71. 1972 was our first year with the indian head on the side.
