Ron_Man
Ok guys I just have a simple task I want to accomplish. Here's the deal, I simply want to copy some footage from my MiniDVD's that I used with my Sony HandyCam to my computer so that I can rip them to a standard size DVD. I also have mpeg clips from my digital camera that I would like to add. What's the software I need? Is Adobe Premiere capable of this? Thanks guy, I hope I wasn't too confusing hehe.. BlitzFiftySix
Ironic, I need to know as well. I've been trying to use the MS DVD Maker that comes with my computer. Any help guys?
no1fanofno21
i just use windows movie maker.............. i used to use it with ease on my old computer, but now with vista it freezes up on me quite a bit (not sure if it was my camcorder or something else) if you got a mac you got options if not plan on spending big $$$ for a good program such as the popular "Pinacle" i would suggest to just try windows movie maker and see if it works for you. They got decent transition stuff and if your just looking to compile some family stuff that should work good enough.
Baculus
Windows Movie Maker is free and OK for basic editing. My personal preference, which I use for my efforts, is Adobe Premiere. You should be able to download a demo version if you were interested in checking out that software.
