Based on what I saw this preseason and a bit of last year, here are my boom/bust predictions for 2016. I'm trying to think outside the box here and hopefully generate some discussion that goes beyond the conventional wisdom, but really any prediction is fine with me.
Offense
Boom = Jamison Crowder. I see in Crowder the same traits I saw in Antonio Brown when he was breaking out. We know from last year that he's good, but I think you could be looking at a Jordan Reed like breakout for C
Boom - Docston, Preston, and Matt Jones.
Bust - Bruton? No idea what to expect from him, he didn't show much either positively or negatively throughout preseason.
Another question for me would be Dashaun Phillips. He played well throughout the preseason, so I'm a little less concerned there. But, he's a bit of a relative unknown and is going to see some formidable receivers lined up against him in the slot, starting with Antonio Brown. ODB lines up plenty in the slot as well.
