budski
True Dallas, but I really think that is not going to happen this year, the skins players will remember that moment during the first game this year and the skins will stomp Dallas. Feel it.
Doozinbrah
For me it has to be the second Dallas game. My wife is a girls fan and I was so excited to think we were gonna win. And then..........it blew up in my faca. She just laughed and I damn near cried. It was very painful to see it slip away.
DB44
Originally posted by wkelch second game of the season, Giants… In for Brunell, Ramsey throws his third interception of the game, effectively ending any chance to win. Seven turnovers and the realization that as great as Gibbs is, he wasn’t going to be able to turn the team around overnight. Silly I know, but come on! Gibbs was back, Super bowl baby! The first indication the season would be a struggle was Brunell's handoff against TB. The giants game was a continuation of his demise. Even though GB hurt, as did the Browns game:doh: , I though the one that hurt the most was the second Dallas game. We had a shot at the playoffs, the game was ours, and a hailmary beats you.

halter91
Portis Touchdown getting called back was the most heartbreaking for me. I cursed so load the whole neighborhood heard me. Dallas sucked too, but after a few games, it didn't suprise me. Paybacks are a ***** Dal-ASS!
dfbovey
The Green Bay game. At that point in the season a win like that could have turned the team around. And to have a game taken away on a phantom penalty was very frustrating. Both Dallas games are right up there.
dreamshatterer
I chose the Dallas games as well. I have a constant reminder of that game cause when Crayton caught that TD, I chucked my remote clear across the room hitting the white paint on the wall and there is a nice black streak on the wall now. I promised myself not to cover it up until we beat Dallas. On another note, to all who can't bear to watch that play, when we play them in week 2, the media will probably play the hell outta that clip a week before the game. Pre-game, halftime, near the end, and whenever else they feel like its appropriate. During that week, they'll play it alot in the local DC area. Come on Washington, beat Dallas!!! Beat the sh!t outta them!!! :wewantd: :dallasuck :point2sky :logo: :helmet: HTTR!!!!!!!

dieselfan44
Do we really have to do this......o.k. Dallas was a kick in the balls b/c it was the last game. It left that rotten taste in your mouth. GB was a very close second. I vividly remember being on my knees in front of the TV in absolute joy one minute, then absolute rage the next. I could have really hurt that official  :puke:
RVAbrendan
Green Bay. I know Dallas is Dallas but when I saw Brunell throw that pass to portis and we got a TD, i jumped and screamed and was so happy. If you look at Mark Brunell after that play, it looks like he is about to cry because he actually delivered. When they called it back, I was speechless. That is when I truely bought into the Redskins/Referee conspiracy theory.
42ceo42
Without a doubt, when Jansen went down in the first pre-season game. I remember calling my wife from a hotel room in Kentucky and telling her that losing Jansen was the second worst loss we could suffer (Portis being the first). TheGreek1973
i voted GB because that was one more terrible zebra call that saw us lose a game. I would have voted (if there) for the first Dallas game because was just about the worse officiating game I have ever seen where the SAME fvcking ref gives a 14 point swing to the girls. I sure hope someone in our FO marked this guy and told the league we never want him as an official in one of our games. That game right there setup the tone for the rest of the season IMO. If we would have won that game I say we would have gone to the playoffs and we didn't because of that POS ref.
Walking Deadman
Dallas, Thought we finally broke the streak and then they have 1 more chance to come back and they did. See, this is why Taylor needs to be at practice. If he takes a better angle, that TD may have been stopped. That was a heart-stopper game and ended any shot to still be "alive". Big Game, we lost. TheGreek1973
Oh yea in addition after that horrible call in the GB game, the next play is the INT where Gardner gets heldup in such a way that his jersey is pulled down over his pads and they don't call it. That hold gave the opportunity for the INT. I was at that game and it happened right in front of us. TOTAL BULLCRAP. For a moment it made me hate football man. (It doesn't have to be on this list.) One more thing... I really think this goes to show how close we were last year to a 9-7 or a 10-6 season. Call me homer, but I truly believe that. When Spurrier was here I said we deserved to be a 5-11 team... but not last year. I won't even mention the Browns game... the first Dallas game... the bogus penalties all year, etc. We were too good a team last year to finish 6-10. We pimp-slapped the Vikings in week 17... a Vikings team who thought they had to win in order to get into the playoffs. I guess what I'm trying to say is, don't worry folks. This year is going to be a special one. :point2sky Green Bay, without a doubt. That game STILL pisses me off. Even the commentators made remarks about how the refs "must be democrats tonight." :cuss: Such blatently bad calls in that game that had a profound impact on the outcome. danbee
It was the Green Bay game for me. I flew in from California to watch the game. Had seats just in line with the endzone when Portis jumped in for the touchdown. The whole place went crazy and for a second it was like the old days. Then we saw the flag and it all went to :crap:
poidog22
I said the Green Bay game b/c I was there to experience the complete euphoria of CP scoring the go ahead TD followed immediately by the dispair of getting it called back...most heartbreaking moment of 2004 for me. RedskinzOwnU
gosh thats a tough one. I just watched the green bay one and it's a heartbreaker, but as the season goes, I think the INT vs the eagles was the most disappointing. That would have been a phenomenal team win, but the one time gibbs gambled and I DIDNT Want him to throw deep, he did just my luck hehe. The dallas one was devastating, but not so much for me because our season was over at that point anyway, and the blown coverage was our D's fault. Can't blame the refs on that one like green bay. But that eagles TD always comes to mind first, I was speechless after that loss.
Skins24
The Dallas game hurt the most. The Greenbay game pissed me off the most. edit: having Brunell start all those games when it was clear he just couldn't do it anymore was most heartbreaking....
