manichispanic
In about an hour or so, i will head out to my 1st real job. I'll be working data processing. The thing is, one of my good friends helped me land the job, and its a real real lax environment, but I;m still a nervous wreck. Argh, whatever childhood i'm still clinging on too will be gone by 4:15 pm. I will miss yelling at Jay Marriotti and JA Adande all while sitting in my room in boxers eating cold cereal with my bare hands, but its time to grow and move on [/attentionwhore]
zoony
Good Luck! Just be yourself and work hard, and you'll do fine. And when I say 'just be yourself', I don't mean talk about porn all day.

Ghost of
Originally posted by manichispanic Ive already befriended the coffee maker. Its like a big industrial one. Tastes pretty good and its $0.10 OK, here's the thing though. If you work in the morning cut off all coffee consumption by 1 pm. And don't have more than 2.5 cups in a day. Frankly, I'd avoid having more than an average of 1. I feel that caffeine addiction can actually make you MORE tired later in the day. You crash and then you end up sleeping when you get home, unless you had coffee later and then LATER in the day. It's a cycle of addiction, man. Not to go all Franklin on ya....but, Be always employed in something useful( like extremeskins ) The perception of being industrious is just as important as actually being industrious. Make sure you make it a habit to always come in on time, and don't play sick...EVER. Be proud that your always there.

I have a cup first thing in the morning, and half a cup at 1:30. That's it. Just enough to get me through the day. But I have to have that. Can't get around it.
