manichispanic
Ok, im a big fan of track jackets, but one of my favorite ones has a giant oil stain on it. Yes, i am sure its oil, and Ive washed it with warm water, pretreated and stitll hasnt come out. Can a dry cleaner get that out?
Dead Money
Try carbona in the supermarket laundry isle. The have different kinds for diff stains. I got bike chain grease on a nice pair of khackis and the one for grease took it right out!
goskins325
try joy dish soap - it's a degreaser and might do the trick, just gently brush it in and then run through the wash. i work for a dry cleaning supplier and yes, a dry cleaner should be able to get it out if you can't. they have specific a spotting chemical that handles paint, oil, and grease - good luck
stevenaa
Adhesive remover works good for grease and oil stains. Test is inside to make sure it doesn't fade the color.
manichispanic
I am surprised by the results of Dry Cleaning. It didnt take all of the stain out, but it is much lighter and much smaller now. However since I didnt want to pay the $5 again to the same place, i tried Dawn dish soap, and it worked like a charm. This was a set it stain too. Now i can wear my jacket out again
