cscmtp
because i can't imagine this offense moving the ball any other way than by your legs. Rest up buddy, we're gonna need ya!!!
Heidenreich
Why won't we be able to move the ball? Are Moss & Patten worthless? Did jansen get hurt again? Ramsey can throw the ball down the field. Moss is a burner (granted, he needs to et to the park) The offense will be better than it was last year. All the doomsayers are starting to get on my nerves..... Walking Deadman
Whatever, Good, I hope CP gets 2000 yds this year.....with Jansen back and everyone else on the O-line healthy and a decent pass game it's a possibility.
cscmtp
Back off people. I love the Skins and Portis more than anyone. But we have VERY little proven WRs in THIS offense. That is a fact. So i'm telling my main man Portis to rest up. He's going to need it when he rushes for 2000 yards! You don't like it, then suck it.
PCS
Suck it? We're reduced to something that's akin to "Oh yeah." Sigh. Going to post stuff like this cscmtp expect to get some heat. Might want to brush up on your comeback skills. Something just a tad more witty and maybe even containing something about gasp, football.

When not injured, Moss has put up some solid numbers. DMac can get the job done just fine, and don't write off Taylor Jacobs. He's gonna shine this year. Portis will get jack if we can't throw the ball to loosen up defences, so you need to stop dreaming, or continue to........................ Suck it Sorry PCS, and others. tired of this type of bs today
SlinginSammy HOF '63
You don't need superstar celebrity WRs to win. Look at the last three SB winners. Besides Meshawn TB had no big names and Meshawn wasn't a real impact player. Defense has won the big one the last several years with an offense just solid enough to do something. We have a fairly solid offense. Patrick will move the ball. Our O-line will be fantastic and Portis won't have to do it on his own. If we average 20 points a game, and we should with Ramsey, our defense will take care of the rest and we'll make a solid improvement on our record. 3-4 wins more. Walking Deadman
Remove the mistakes: Penalties, fumbles, INT's and 1 blown coverage and we win possibly 3-4 more games last year. 6-10 to 9-7 or 10-6 not a big difference for this team. 1 year under Gibb's belt, Portis used to system, Arrington/Jansen/Barrow (maybe) healthy, Taylor 1 year under belt and this team may be better (I hope). All the doomsayers are starting to get on my nerves..... Were going to catch alot of balls with mike williams oh wait thats right we passed on him. Or we could open up the run game a little more for portis by have heath miller run through teams backfeilds. Oh wait we passed on him too. Well if moss and patten cant catch maybe we will just draft a receiver first round next season, oh wait we dont have a pick next season. Well hey we always have jason campbell next season, oh wait thats right hes on the sideleine. But were going to be better on offense because we got rabach. Its almost gaurentted. wwninja420
We are a run first offense you know, so he will be getting a workload. The difference is this year when they stack 9 in the box, we'll have Patten and Moss to burn em over the top. The offense will be better this year IMO. What if Williams and Miller are busts? You can't totally judge anything right now. Give it a few years and we will see if passing on those guys and a wideout have paid off. Until then just quit your whining

Sorry PCS, and others. tired of this type of bs today My point was, those WRs haven't proven anything in OUR offense. What Moss did in NY doesn't matter here. Same with Patten. Am i hoping they both play as well, or better here? OF COURSE. But i'm nervous because our projected starters have never taken a snap as Redskins. So i was hoping we'd draft a WR to give us that many more options. Hoping at least 1 or 2 out of a group of 5 would produce. Maybe they will. Time will tell. But this doesn't change one thing. Gibbs said he wants to win now. He said Patrick is the guy, the team leader. If that is true, then why use a 1st round pick that cost so much on a guy that won't be seeing the field this year? That doesn't help us win now (it could down the road, but not NOW)
Mr. S
if Ramsey started more games, we coulda prolly wone 1-2 more, which woulda meant playoffs for the NFC. I love the Carlos Rogers pick. However, Campbell, ehhh. People just seem to think our offense has not improved, we have upgraded hardcore at center with Rabach. Patten is a guy who doesnt drop passes. Moss is just as fast as Coles and can catch the deep ball that Coles used to be able to. McCants can be a posession guy still, and Jacobs WILL surprise us. We upgraded at 2 positions on the line, RT and C, and our receiving corps as a whole is better I feel. Only offensive pick I wouldnt have minded is TE Heath Miller, or a DE at that #25 pick. cscmtp
I have no problems saying this draft will be great for the future. Its just not the best scenerio for winning NOW. That's all.
SlinginSammy HOF '63
Coles is Gimp. He's lost a step so we lost nothing by him being gone. We added Rabach at Jansen will be back after losing him last year. Ramsey is the starter and will get teh ball down field forcing the defense to respect the pass and the O-line will bust open holes for Portis. Stop sweating. Have faith in a guy who's won 3 Super Bowls. He knows a helluva lot more of what he's doing that what any of us do.
