Kilmer17
Im sure you say the same thing about CNN and Larry King? Or MAtthews on MSNBC? And do we even need to start with the major networks? They exist to get ratings and make money. PERIOD. If you want unbiased news programming, turn on CSPAN. If you turn on OReilly or Jon Stewart, your going to get the schtick and spin. Stewart has a show on "Comedy Central" that is promoted as a comedy show. There is a big difference.
Kilmer17
No, there is NO difference. Both are TV shows. CBS news claims to be a news show as well, and we all know where they stand. Im pretty sure your one of the guys who constantly says that it's all about ratings. So why ignore that obvious truth in this case? I couldnt care less about Oreilly. As I said, I only watch Matthews nonelection season. But if Jon Stewart wants to attack certain TV shows for being too "angry" and too divisive, he should first take a look at the political philosophy being expressed (or in most cases demonized) on his own program. You don't think there are people who disagree with you one way or the other and think either of those guys preaches gospel? I'm quite sure there are people who think both are messengers of absolute, anadultered truth. Obviously not the same people, but still... Phat Hog
I like O'Reilly. A bit brash, but that's what's refreshing about his style.
