dchogs
nice...the 3rd game of preseason is typically the one where starters play the most and it's on national TV. aug 26th will be a happy day in san diego!

jwebst1
I can't believe it's out this early. Last year the pre-season schedule didn't come out until after the regular season schedule in mid-April........

jimster
so there is an American Bowl this year. That 1st week in August will be 3 nationally televised games - that's awesome.
project myu
Is there a system they use for scheduling preseason games? We just played the Panthers in preseason last year.
SmootDawg21
We pretty much always play Carolina and Pittsburgh.
skinstzar
I think they try to put some potential regional rivalries in their so they can double up on TV coverage and encompass an entire region. IE Baltimore and DC. People in the Carolinas used to be Skins fans before they got their own team so they know they may have some old school skins fans in that area. Pitt and DC are 3 hours away so they get a lot of those Pittsburg transplants that have moved down here to DC. I think the NFL marketing team is one of the most intuitive in Corporate America. Cincy just seems like a filler to me.
RedskinzOwnU
We'll find out how our offense is gonna be at the start of the reg season when we finish off the preseason against baltimore and pittsburgh. If we can put up some points in the 1st half we'll be in decent shape

soljaofjesus
is there anyway I can watch the games thats not televised nationally. Will they come on like Comcast Sports Net 53 since thats the DC station? Will I have to get NFL channel if they have one for Comcast?
Rypien 91
Good times, at Carolina. Means, I will be at least 3 games this year, maybe 4. Always a good game against the Panthers. As another poster said, this preseason is tough.

Mr. S
carolina and baltimore seem to always be pre-season favorites. Im not sure why Cincinatti or Pittsburg though, since we did play them last season anyways.
