China
Teen YouTuber Crashes Dad's One-Off, $3.4M Pagani Huayra Hypercar crashes are always cringe-worthy not just because they involve the very possible risk of injury to the driver, occupant, and bystanders, but because more often than not, these are rolling pieces of art getting smashed. Sadly, that's exactly what we're seeing today out of Dallas, Texas, as a rather special Pagani Huayra Roadster was involved in what looks like a fairly heavy crash that deployed the car's airbags and ripped apart much of the car's bodywork. On Tuesday evening, news that this one-off Huayra, now identified as chassis 76029, was involved in an accident began circulating on social media. Its once showroom-worthy condition now in shambles as its driver's door lay on the pavement, one or both of the front wheels completely removed from the chassis, and other carbon fiber bits shattered all over the road, as can be seen on this Instagram story. Several posts on Facebook and Instagram have identified the car as one typically driven and shown off on social media by Gage Gillean, a 17-year-old YouTuber and the son Tim Gillean, a billionaire who founded a private equity firm in Dallas who owns a number of high-end cars. This particular Roadster once held a $3.4-million sticker price when new. Click on the link for the full article
China
Oregon man sues, alleging he went to doctor for distress over marital woes, only to find the physician was having an affair with his wife A Bend man was experiencing depression as a result of his failing marriage so he went to his family physician, who counseled him on ways to improve his marriage and prescribed him marijuana and CBD. The patient now claims in a lawsuit that all along, the doctor, Ronald Rosen, was having an affair with his wife. In a complaint filed Monday in Deschutes County Circuit Court, local musician and financial adviser Peirson Tone seeks $2.9 million from Rosen for professional negligence. “As a result of (Rosen’s) conduct, plaintiff sustained emotional distress including … the loss of his marriage and emotional and social destruction of his family,” the lawsuit states. Rosen did not return messages left at his office. From 2015 to 2018, Tone, his wife and two children received medical care at Rosen’s clinic, Open Paths Integrative Medicine, according to the suit. At some point, the suit says, Rosen began a relationship with Tone’s wife. In November 2018, Tone went to Rosen to treat his depression, which was caused by stress in his relationship, the lawsuit states. Rosen counseled Tone and offered him solutions to enhance and heal his marriage, and prescribed him herbs and breathing techniques for his depression, in addition to marijuana and CBD. After the visit, Tone learned Rosen had been involved with his wife for an “extended” period of time, the complaint states. The couple later divorced. China
Ontarian Leaves Package Of Poop On Porch & It Apparently Got Stolen Only 40 Mins Later One resident is fighting back after a string of Ontario package thefts in her area. Laurie Pringle, a Hamilton resident, told Narcity that she's had a number of packages stolen from her porch in the past three years. This year, Pringle decided to leave her thieves a smelly surprise and packaged up poop into a delivery box, before leaving it on her front porch. It didn't take long for a man to take the bait, and Pringle reports that the box was stolen only 40 minutes later. Pringle was even able to capture the reported theft on video and claims that this isn't the first time the suspect has stolen in the area before.
