He might be a Clint Didier clone. Didier was a tall WR with decent speed that bulked up and became a Gibbs TE. If this is accurate (4.53 speed), this guy with 6-6 height could really be a TE sleeper. But I also like this Kori Dickerson we recently signed. I think he is going to surprise some people next year at TE and HB.
Hog Fever
My question is “How does he block?”. We might be better off trying to convert a tackle rather than converting a WR. We seem to have guys who can catch but the inconsistent blocking from the TE position has hurt us all year.
Ignatius J.
this team needs a serious blocking TE in the worst way. remember everyone complaining about spurrier's schemes where the TE had to block a DE? that's standard for every NFL team, we just have a terrible TE corps. Cooley is great out of the backfield but can't block worth a lick. What we need is a serious banging, mauling, blocking tight end.
afparent
Let's find a tall, lean linemen and give him a number in the 80s.
Cskin
If Baxter gets healthy he may be resigned and get a look in TC next year.
IGIT
Patrick Estes from Virginia (opposite Heath Miller) is a better blocker than Miller w/ decent (but not great) hands and speed. He would be available in later rounds or as a FA. Just throwing his name out there ...
mookie0720
He looks like one of those new age-Antonio Gates-basketball player TE's.
