Anyone notice that they stopped kicking to Antonio Brown?

Recommended Posts

The question is, why did the Bills get rid of him, after doing this in his first year ?

2003 Earned a spot on the Buffalo Bills' 53-man roster with an electrifying preseason in which he had an 87-yard punt return and a 75-yard punt return for a touchdown. He went on to appear in all 16 games as the Bills' primary return man on kickoffs and punts.

* Finished the year with 1,046 yards on 48 kickoffs. The yardage total ranks as the fourth highest in Bills history.

* Also recorded 111 yards on 25 punt returns.

* Had a career-long kickoff return of 75 yards to open the second half of the season finale at New England.

He's looked like a find.

But he's on probation with that fumble. If he fumbles in practice with the coaches or in games (in the preseason), see-ya.

And they were not necessarily avoiding him. Thrash took the 2cd one back 36 yds.

Maybe they were avoiding their bad special teams coverages....

Cutting Chad will cost almost as much against the cap than by keeping him. He is only $1.04M next year. Cutting him after June 1st would cost $500k in 2005 and $1M in 2006. Cutting him prior to June 1st would cost $1.5M.
