Kevin West Posted March 24, 2002 Share Posted March 24, 2002 In a day and age when rhetoric has been reduced to spin control and sound-bites, it was both refreshing and invigorating to hear Sidney Potier speak so eloquently upon receiving a Honorary award at tonight's Acadamy Awards. He is truely an American treasure and I can only hope that the current and succeeding generations of actors will strive to achieve his level of intelligence and dignity. But if you go to oscars.com, click on winners, click on honorary, and click on Sidney Potier, they have the entire speech. Sorry for my ineptitude.
