NFL.com wire reports

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (Sept. 16, 2004) -- All-Pro defensive end Michael Strahan is expected to play for the New York Giants against the Washington Redskins despite missing practice on Thursday, Sept. 16, with a pulled muscle in his buttocks.

The Giants listed Strahan, who only participated in the individual drills, as probable for Sunday's game.

Strongside linebacker Carlos Emmons missed his second straight practice with a groin injury. He remains questionable. Rookie Reggie Torbor, a fourth-round draft pick out of Auburn, is expected to start if Emmons is sidelined.
