gridironmike
I noticed the XM golf cart trolling around the parking lots yesterday. I also saw an ad on the big screen for an XM Redskins Roady. I checked out the link today and it is a case and faceplate for the Roady or Roady 2. See the offer here https://xmradio.metrononline.com/xm/main.aspx
codeorama
XM doesn't even have the NFL games does it? Sirrius has the NFL package.
gridironmike
Sirius has the NFL Sunday Drive. XM is the "Official Satellite Partner" of the Washington Redskins. So, if you have XM, that doesn't mean you get the Redskins. Neat gimmick though.
codeorama
That's what I figured, i'm sure some Skins fans have signed up expecting to hear the Skins games, only to realize they bought the wrong system...
gridironmike
I understand that the Sirius deal is not exclusive, so I'm curious as to why XM doesn't act on this. The NFL had to pay Clear Channel to get some of the teams on satellite radio, one of them being the Redskins. The Redskins aren't even available on the NFL.com audio! It looks like Snyder would negotiate his own deal with XM since they obviously have a good working relationship....and that would make my day!!!!!! In Flames
having tried both systems..i must say that xm is far more superior than sirius. to me it wasnt worth it to get sirius just for the nfl....theyre other programming just plain sucks. CandaceM23
XM radio is the best ten dollars that I spend each month. It is the only reason that I stay sane driving around the beltway.
gridironmike
The Redskins Roady faceplate and case is on sale for $9.99 (was $19.99). Click on https://xmradio.metrononline.com/xm/main.aspx , then Radio Accessories, and last Cases and Packs.
DUSTINMFOX
Yeah we have them at our XM kiosks here in the mall for 9.99.... I've now tried both Sirius and Xm, and I also find XM superior... By the way.......how many of you guys actually miss Redskins games on televesion anyways? I know if I were not living here and couldnt get Sunday ticket...then I would be at a sports bar. I think XM thought baseball was the better deal....162 games! And it's more of a radio sport anyways....
galentjm
Sirius does have the NFL package, but XM will be broadcasting every major league baseball game this coming season, and they also broadcast college sports (Football, Basketball) for the ACC, Big Ten, and one more conference that slips my memory at the moment (probably big east).
